Bucky Barnes, Enemies to Lovers [COMPLETED]

Chapter 8

I think I'm falling for him.

He again started touching my ass and I pulled away.

"I said spear this for tonight," I smirked.

We got out of the water and walked to the others.

"Do you want me to say it?" I whispered into Bucky's ear. "Only if you're ready for it," he said and gave me a weak smile. "Maybe not now," I smiled back. "Just when you're ready," he said and that made me want to kiss him. I leaned in and gave him a quick kiss.

I mean, the whole team knew about the little date but we didn't say anything about boyfriend and girlfriend. But the only thing I knew was that I had chosen Bucky and I won't break his heart. Not like my ex-boyfriend did to me 2 years ago. I'm not like him. I'll never be. He was such a monster and I've never talked about that I even had a boyfriend. But I knew that I couldn't hold this a secret forever. One day I'll have to say it. One day, everyone will find out, Bucky will find out. And that may lead to a break up. I didn't really want to break up with him. But if he finds out, it may change our relationship forever. He will not be the same to me, everything will be cringe and he won't look at me the same way as he does now. Or maybe somehow he is going to hug me tight, kiss me and say that everything is going to be alright. And if he did that, everyone would have been shocked. That's not Bucky, it just isn't him. He would probably dump me. But once I'd have to let it out. And maybe he will accept it. Or not?

Anyways.

"Avengers!" Tony said with a bossy tone. He only called us that when we were going on a mission. "Nick Fury just called," he said and made direct eye contact with me. "We have a dangerous mission," he broke the eye contact with me. "Let's go, I'll tell you more about it when we get in the car," when he said that everyone immideatley packed their towels and we walked straight to the car. Everyone placed their bags in the trunk but we didn't  have time to decide who was going to sit in the front sit so for it to be more fair I sat there again.

"So, what's the mission?" Sam asked with confusion. "It's HYDRA again. They found another base. But this one is bigger than the ones that we are used to. It'll be hard to take it down so we need as much people as possible. So are everyone in?" He asked and turned around to look at the others and then he looked at me. At first it was silence, I turned around to look at Bucky. He slightly nodded with as small sad smile.

"I'm in!"

Everyone started at me.

"I'm in too," Bucky said.

Everyone were in now.

We were going on that mission.

When we arrived at the HQ, we all got to the meeting room.

"So, the base is all the way down, in Australia. It's nearly Sydney. It'll be a long flight so we are leaving tomorrow morning at 5AM. We will stay at a hotel for 3 days. At the hotel everything is already done, all the workers know about us and that we are coming. We don't need to check in, they are already done with that. You will be in rooms for two and I've already chosen who's gonna be with who," when Tony said that, I looked over to Bucky. He was already starting. He said who everyone was going to share room with and I was with Bucky! I was so happy because I may even get to know him better.

"The mission will last 1 day max so you'll get 2 days on something like an vacation and to do whatever you want. You should also start to pack now after we eat dinner."

Everyone got up and started walking to their floors to shift because we were still in the beach clothes. And we also needed to shower. I decided to walk up the stairs to our floor and Bucky joined me.

"Look, everything is going to be alright," I looked up to him and gave him a warm smile. I knew that he wasn't okay with this type of missions and that might also give him more nightmares. Everytime he hears someone talking about HYDRA it reminds him of his past.

"Uhm, yes, we'll meet at the dining table I guess," he said as we both walked in to our rooms.

We didn't have dinner with the whole team often so this was a little special event. I had to choose something that's not a dress but that's not to casual. This is what I chose:

I went down stairs and picked a place to sit which happened to be right next to Sam. It's not that it's bad, it was just that Steve was on Sam's right side and I were on his left, which meant that Bucky would want to sit next to Steve or Sam. But that wasn't possible neither because Nat was sitting next to Steve. So the only opportunity was for him to sit next to me if he wanted to sit near his best friends. I actually didn't know if I was happy or not but I guess I was.

There he was. In a t-shirt and some black jeans, good-looking as always. His hair was still wet and super messy, which made him look even hotter.

I smiled and waved so that I could make sure that he would sit next to me. As I thought (and wanted to), he did sit next to me.

We talked and laughed the whole time but we needed to pack now.

We all went to our rooms to start packing. I didn't want to bring much. I packed some jeans, sweatpants, tops, a book, my PJ'S and some other stuff that I'll need.

Sorry for a short chapter and for not posting in a while, I'm just a little busy and I don't have much inspiration right now, but I'll try to post more :)
