Chapter 12

They wanted me?

"Grace, you okay?" Steve said with worry in his voice.

I started feeling dizzy and everything became blurry. I could hear that they tried to talk to me but I didn't hear what they said and then everything became black.

I opened my eyes. I looked around. I was laying in a bed. This was the bed at our hotel, at Bucky and I's room. I turned around to see Bucky, sitting on a chair and reading.

"I love you," I said with a low tone and immediately smiled when Bucky looked at me.

He came closer and sat on the bed edge. "I love you too darling," he whispered and gave me a warm and soft kiss.

"H-how long have I been like this?" I said with a cracky voice. "Around 7 hours. Me and Tony decided to stay here one day more because as you know this is the last day and we thought that it would be better for you not to be a billion feet in the air when you wake up so we are staying for tomorrow too," he smiled and kissed my forehead.

"But Bucky," my smile immediately faded when I remembered what happened on that mission. "This is isn't a good idea," I said and placed my hand on his. "You don't think so?" He looked at me with a worried look.

"I need to talk to Tony," when I said that, I immediately got up from the bed and started walking towards the door even though I felt super weak in my knees and felt like I could collapse every second.

I opened the door and got out of the room. "Grace-" I closed the door before Bucky could even finish his sentence.

Tony's room was right next to ours which made me pretty lucky because I couldn't walk any longer than this. I knocked the door and after some seconds he opened it. The first thing I did was to walk over to his bed and collapse on it.

"Grace, what are you doing, you gotta stay in bed for a little bit," He came colder and sat on the bed edge next to me.

"We have to leave now," I looked at Tony

"Tell me, why do you want to leave right now," he looked at me without changing the expressions in his face.

"Because they-" a weird peeping noice cut me off. Something was peeping, like a... LIKE A BOMB. I immediately scanned the room but didn't see anything. I fast got up and that made Tony get up.

Just then I spotted the bomb.

I took Tony's hand by his sleeve and moved his hands in the position that he had his hands in when doing the hand-thing so that he could get the iron suit. His suit flew to him and he looked at me confusing.

I snapped the important papers about HYDRA and turned to Tony.

"RUN!" We both ran to the door but it was somehow locked.

"No, no, no, there has to be another way... YES, THE WINDOW!" I said and we both turned to the window. "By the way what's happening?" Tony asked. "Don't you hear it, it's a bomb!" I said and started running towards the window.

I jumped and broke the glass. I let myself fall for a second and then flew up. I looked above me and saw Tony flying. I turned to the building to see the bomb exploding. I flew higher and reached Tony.

"That's why I want to leave as fast as possible," I said and smiled at him.

We arrived at the headquarters and the first thing I wanted to do was to take a long shower.

"So, what do you wanna do?" Bucky asked me. "I don't know about you but I'm gonna take a long shower," I said and walked off. After taking a few steps, I turned around and looked at Bucky.

"Wanna join?" I smirked. "Hell yeah," Bucky grinned and we went showering.

We had a great time and after we got out of the shower we went to Bucky's room or should I say our room because I slept there almost every night now. I took on my black panties and Bucky gave me one of his t-shirts that obviously was too big for me and  it covered me up good so I didn't have to use any pants. After taking on the clothes we sat down on his bed and started watching Netflix. When the movie finished, we went to bed and I slept, curled up to his bare chest.

The next morning, I woke up before Bucky. I quietly got out of bed and walked out of the room. I gave Bucky one last look just to make sure that he was still asleep.

I checked the clock: 06:12. I usually didn't wake up that early, at least not if I didn't have to.

GUYS I'M OFFICIALLY CUTTING THE STORY OFF!! So um, I started writing with literally no inspiration and I came up with everything while writing except Bucky and Grace getting kind of together. I never really meant to post this but I just did one day when I needed supporters. I will start working on a story that'll be much better. I have a few planned things that will happen. The story is gonna be a OC story and about Bucky ofc. I will not delete this story just because I may get inspiration from this, even though I hate this story so much lol. But anyways just stay tuned for my story that'll upload soon or at least the first chapter.
