Sal:

After picking up your eldest daughter of 15 years, Florence, you noticed that something was off.

"Shortcake, you okay?" You ask while taking a turn, you had you eyes glued on the road.

"Yeah I'm fine" she huffs clearing not okay.

"You know you can tell me anything. I'll understand whatever you tell me. Are you getting bullied?" You peak over at her. She has her arms crossed with a cute lil angry face. You hate to see her like this.

"Flo?"

"You really what to know?" She raises her voice, "I told my best friend that I'm a lesbian and now she's scared of me! She thinks I want to do stuff with her so she told the whole school about me"

You pull over to the curb. How could this be? You did not raise her to be like this. You turn to look at her getting ready to speak, "are you going to kick me out?" She now sobs.

"Of course not" you relax your face, "I love you, okay? No mater what sexuality you are. Never let anyone bring you down for your sexuality. Always be proud of who you are okay? You're just friends with the wrong people"

She roughly wipes her tears away, "I met someone a few weeks ago and I really like her. She didn't turn away from me like the rest of them. She even invited me to this club"

"Maybe she likes you too" you nudge she giggles, "stop!"

"We should talk to your father about this, don't stress though, I know he'll be proud of you no matter what"

Q:

You and Q have been noticing that your only child of 13 years, Evelyn, has been acting slightly different lately. She has been refusing to wear bras, keeping her hair short into a quiff, and only wearing baggy masculine clothing.

You both decide to finally have the talk.

"Eve? Could you come down here for a minute?" Q calls out. You were both waiting at the dining table for her. She then comes down smiling until she spots what was happening, "what's going on?" She asks scared.

"Take a seat" you say looking down, clearly avoiding eye contact.

"Okay please don't tell me you guys are getting a divorce you can work out your differences! Please, I don't want two birthdays, two Christmas'-"

"It's not about us" You interrupt her. She remains quiet now thinking over the things we've found out. She takes a seat in front of you, "what did I do?"

"Is there something you'd like to admit?" Q asks hoping she'd get the jiff.

"What are you talking about?"

"The way your dressing, your hair, your actions?" Q says almost angrily.

"Mum what's happening?" She begins to shake. Q was about to speak again, you tap his arm letting him know that you got this.

"Are you a boy or a girl?" You ask calmly. She stares deep in your eyes before looking at Q's. Her eyes relaxes now beginning to cry, "I'm sorry I know you wanted a girl but I can't help it"
