The year ends with two main things. Violet is top of all but three of the classes she takes. And in those three classes, she's a close second. It seems Hermione and her her caught in a race, both competing for first place in classes. And Violet has no intention of losing. Though a honorable mention would have to be the Malfoy boy.
Part of it is a one off thing that Harry drops when the situation is brought up. "Yeah, Hermione asked if you were trustworthy. It's strange, you're my sister, so of course you are."
She'd left it at that, but she stored such a piece of information away in her mind. Like with Dumbledore, she suddenly didn't feel too warmly towards someone who was looking too closely.
The second thing was Lockehart making an absolute fool of himself. He'd confounded himself so badly when a spell misfired that he'd put himself in Saint Mungo's. It meant once again, they'd need a new professor for the class.

The summer was spent much nicer than before. And that was because the Weasley family had invited the twins over for a few weeks. They'd be there until it was time to go to Hogwarts.
They were certainly a peculiar bunch and Violet didn't mind them too much. She thoroughly enjoyed seeing her brother come to life at their house, though. That was a sight she wouldn't give up for anything.
And Arthur was an easy man to get along with. She showed him how the muggle objects worked and he told her what the ministry was like. Molly taught her simple household spells as long as she helped out. But her favorite had to be Ginny. The girl had a certain spirit about her that was easy to like.
The mornings were so much different than at the Dursleys. Molly refused to let her or Harry help with the cooking. And she always served them first, claiming it was because they were the guests each time.
As they ate, Arthur passed her the Daily Prophet, where once again, the same up and coming politician resided on the front cover. The Daily Prophet never failed to sing him and his work praise and Violet wouldn't be surprised if he was name the most eligible wizard by the end of the year.
He was handsome in a breathtaking sort of way, perfect locks pushed into place, deep dark eyes, and with cheekbones that could cut class. The man was charming on top of the good looks, officially making him the perfect person for witches and wizards everywhere to swoon over. Marvolo Sayre was someone to keep an eye on, that was for sure.
"Is everyone ready to go to Diagon Alley today?" Molly asked loudly, looking over everyone.
"We are!" Fred and George chimed.
"Same!" Ginny agreed quickly.
Ron and Harry nodded quietly, both still eating. And Violet did the same with a smile that had Molly patting her cheek. Percy would be staying home but she doubted any of the others minded too much.
They flooed there, a sensation she was still getting used to despite doing it a few times now. And they headed to pick up what they needed.
It was closer to Gringotts that they saw the crowd and a few flashing cameras. And wherever a camera was, the twins being recognized wasn't far behind. Sure enough, someone pointed Harry out, his scar more visible thanks to the wind.
"Mister Sayre, it's the Potter twins!" A cameraman announced, pushing the two towards the man for a close up. And never had Violet been so glad to have been wearing something nice.
Sure enough, there the young politician stood, glancing down at them in a way she was very familiar with thanks to the Dursleys. Her lips pulled to a pout at that but she smiled last second for the flash of a camera again.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, sir," She politely introduced, feeling as if she had something to prove to this man. "Violet Potter. And this is my twin brother, Harry."
"Likewise, Miss Potter," He have a smile, one that seemed genuine in the outside, but she knew better. "And you, Mister Potter."
And eyeing the man closer, it was easy to note that something was off. She couldn't place it, couldn't even say why, she just knew something in her recognized a darkness in him. And when his eyes narrowed her way, she knew he knew that too.
"Violet, you said? How is Hogwarts for you?" He wonders suddenly, bringing a hand to her shoulder and posing for another flash.
"It's going well. Top of my classes, sir." She beams brightly, content in playing pretend in front of so many people.
"I see. If you keep it up until you graduate, don't hesitant to reach out. I'll be in touch." He gives a charming smile, one that has her cheeks feeling a little flushed, and she nods.
"Thank you. And good day to you!" She sweetly adds as he turns to leave.
He glances at her for a moment too long before nodding. "You as well, Miss Potter."

She liked Arthur Weasley. She did. Until she found out he'd been hiding the papers that mentioned an escaped prisoner. Until she found out that once again, her brother was in danger. And this time, herself was included.
Violet wasn't feeling as great about the man after learning that fact. So now she had to figure out how to stop a madman coming after her and her brother. Because realistically, it wasn't like the adults could be much help. They'd shown that much.
Hogwarts was bound to be interesting this year. That much was for certain. Between the strange new politician and an escaped murderer after them, it was already set up to be interesting.
And speaking of the strange politician, Violet was still left reeling over her very short meeting with him. He wasn't like what she expected but maybe that was a good thing. Marvolo was clearly intelligent and he never failed to have people eat out of the palm of his hand. She liked that, she liked it a lot.
Specifically, she took one look at what he had, and she decided she wanted it. The easy fame, the power within the ministry, all without having to play at being the actual Minister. She got a taste of it through Marvolo and oh, how she hungered. But she'd get it one day, she would.
