A shut ins Hero. (Bernadetta x Male Reader.)

Bernadetta C- Support.

(Y/N) pov:

You're walking around the Monastery at night as a watchman. You hear the sound of foot steps and go to investigate when you see Bernadetta walking towards the dining hall. She enters and you quietly follow and see her get a peach sorbet.

(Y/N): "A bit of a night owl huh?"

She jumps in surprise.

Bernadetta: "Oh (Y/N). Don't scare me like that okay!?"

You laugh and smile.

(Y/N): "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you like that. What are you doing up at this time of night?"

Bernadetta: "I prefer to eat at night, since-"

(Y/N): "Your dad. No need to mention him if it makes you uncomfortable."

Bernadetta: "Thanks. So what are you doing?"

(Y/N): "Night watch. It helps me clear my mind."

Bernadetta: "So how did you get to Garreg Mach?"

(Y/N): "That's kind of random to ask you know?"

Bernadetta: "I just want to know how you survived that day. I thought you died and it really hurt knowing I might never see you again."

(Y/N): "I understand. I thought I'd never see you again, but I'm glad fate had other plans."

Bernadetta: "Well could you tell me?"

(Y/N): "Sure meet me after my shift. Meet me at the training grounds."

Bernadetta: "Okay."

Two hours pass and your at the training grounds for a bit of training. You hear footsteps and see Bernadetta enter the training grounds.

(Y/N): "There you are. Guessing you were trying to avoid the guards?"

Bernadetta: "Yeah there were so many."

(Y/N): "Any way a deals a deal. The answer is quite simple. I went out the back into the forest. My dad stayed and fought."

Bernadetta: "You couldn't have told me at the dining hall?"

You smile.

(Y/N): "I wanted to bring you here."

Bernadetta: "Sorry, but I don't want to train."

You laugh.

(Y/N): "I didn't bring you here for training."

Bernadetta looks at you confused.

(Y/N): "Look at the sky."

Bernadetta looks up and sees an amazing view of the stars.

(Y/N): "I like to think that my dad is watching me from up there."

You sit down as you say that.

Bernadetta looks at you as you look down at the ground.

Bernadetta: "What's wrong?"

You look at her with a sad expression on your face.

(Y/N): "Nothing. It's getting late. We should go get some sleep. Here I'll escort you."

Bernadetta: "Oh thanks."

You get her to her room and head to yours and fall asleep.
