"Y/n you are finally done with your scouting"? Kaeya asked. I nodded as he waited for me at the gate. "Let's get a drink". He offered And I followed behind him. It was quite packed with the knights and venti on the second level but not a lot on the first when we went in.

"Oh, Diluc is there an event today"? I asked the redhead that was serving up drinks. "We we're just celebrating jeans day off". He said.

"Well that's nice I'm surprised she went on a break". I said sitting in front of him. "You went on your first patrol how was it"? He poured me a glass of apple juice.

"It was alright I was joined by Bennett and razor which wasn't that bad". I took a sip and watched him serve the drunk bard.

"Figures, did Kaeya join you"? Shaking my head Kaeya watched the bard slur to him. "No, he just led me here". Diluc hummed. It wasn't a lot to figure out that the man was looking at me.

The rest of the night you chatted with Amber about your plans to travel. "Alright um, that's enough of this". Diluc said cleaning up.

"I'll take venti home". Diluc said helping the shorter on his back. "Bye, you guys"! You said walking with the two of them.

"So Diluc business is running a bit slow". You said. "Mhm well, I might tell Charles to try and host something to bring in new customers". He said.

"That's good I hope things go well". I couldn't help but play with my fingers. "You too on your travels". He said.

It was quiet and I couldn't help but laugh at venti's snores which made Diluc upset. "So anything happening between you and grandmaster Jean". I asked gaining his attention.

"Nothing than a professional relationship". He said. You were kinda relieved by that. "Diluc would you like to go out tomorrow with me". I said.

"Like a date"? He said. I shrugged. "It could be whatever you think it is". I said. "Then I'll take your offer". He said. I felt myself blushing too hard.

"Then we can have a nice lunch at wind rise if your interested". Coming toward the winery I watched him lay venti on the couch.

"I am, now, you should get rest y/n". He said. I nodded watching him take off his coat.

"Would you like to stay the night my butler fixed up a bedroom here for guests"? He said. "Id love too". Taking you toward the room he got you settled in.

"Thank you master Diluc, I can't wait for tomorrow". I said resting my hand on the doorknob.

"It's no problem I'm looking forward to having a day with you. My butler and I don't get to play and board games anymore so maybe you and I could play around for a while". He said winking before he left.

I closed the door before hugging the pillow. I can't believe I actually asked him out.
