"Please, dad." Scott's voice echoed through the huge hallway, outside your door. When your siblings got wind of the trip being cancelled they all began to beg and bribe him to still go.

"We can leave (y/n) here and take the rest of the family." You and Scott were always fighting, so him saying that didn't faze you.

"No." Your dad's voice boomed, their conversation made it hard to concentrate on the book you were reading. You had read at least seven chapters this week and really wanted to read more, but your mind was all over the place.

Scott groaned, "why not?"

"Because No!" He said even louder.

Then you heard foot steps run passed your door then a door slam, Scott must have ran into his room to pout.

Then someone knocked on your door, "(y/n) sweetie?" Your dad said, nicely.

You had been avoiding your family. All of them. For three days.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

"Sure." You whispered, hoping he wouldn't hear, but he did, he opened the door and walked in.

"What are you doing?" He asked, walking up behind you. His voice held a sort of pity, when he spoke to you.

"Reading..." you whispered, you didn't want to talk.

"I know your upset about the trip but, someone from the kingdom has spoken up about wanting to marry you!" He said cheerfully.

You rolled your eyes and sighed, "Who is it?"

"He's a Noble and him and his family are coming here tomorrow, if you at least give him a chance we will go to DreemLand... But you have to give him a real chance and not just brush it off, like all the others."

"But what if I really don't like him...?" You asked.

"Then he, and his family can go on their merrily way while our family's in DreemLand!" He said smiling.

You laughed, "okay, pops. I'll give him a try!"

You really wanted to go to dreemland and your father not pushing the decision of marriage on you made you very happy.

"That's the spirit!" He cheered, "...oh and don't mention our agreement to your siblings or your mother, please."

"Just between us." You agreed.

"Great!" He walked out, "oh Hello, miss Charlotte."

"Greetings, your highness." Charlotte bows, then walks into your room. "I heard the news! That's great, princess!"

"I'll make sure you look stunning tomorrow." Charlotte smiled.

After that the next few hours went by really slow, you read a few more chapters of your book. Then, Gloria brought your food to your room, "Princess, you know your family wishes for you to eat with them..." She said, Gloria was mostly loud, rude and bossy, but she knows when to be sweet and when to be rude.

You imagine she learned to be somewhat kind from all the time she spent with charlotte, however, it was unproven.

You looked over at the short woman, holding your plate of lasagna and a wine glass filled with water.

"I will sooner or later, just not today..." You said, taking your food, Gloria nodded, then bowed and exited the room.

You didn't eat however, you just sort of picked at it... You didn't really feel like eating. After a couple more hours passed the sun finally set, you crawled out your window and watched it.
