Chapter 7

Cat's POV

I wake up at the light of dawn and stretch. My arm hits something solid and hard. I turn around and I see Xavier. Then, memories come flooding back to me. I was marked yesterday. Yes!! I try to go to the bathroom but something is grabbing my waist. Xavier's arm.

Damn that arm is strong. It's like a steel band is wrapped around my waist. But I really want to see the mark. So I gently kiss Xavier. That should make him wake up. And my prediction was right. His eyes open slowly, and when they settle on me and my neck, he lets out a smile. I smile back and he asks:

"Do you want to see it?" He asks. I nod and he lifts his arm from my waist. Finally! I run to the bathroom. It's beautiful. Engraved in my shoulder is:

I smile as I trace the letters. Xavier walks into the bathroom. I smile through the mirror.

"You like it?" He asks. I nod and hug him tightly. He hugs me back.

'Bruh, our mate is so fucking hot!!' My wolf, Jeimy says through mind link. Xavier chuckles.

"You do know that now that I marked you I can hear your conversations with your wolf and I can read your thoughts. " Xavier says in a 'duh' tone. I blush and hide my face in my hair. He tilts my face up and brings our lips together for a kiss. Our lips meet for a hungry kiss but he pulls away after 5 seconds. I whine a little. He smirk.

"Cat, you do know that since I marked you, you will be going into heat in like a week right?" He said with a smile and my face paled. Heat?! I shook my head. He nodded.

"Heat? Doesn't that hurt and make me super horny?" I ask. He nods with a smirk. I roll my eyes.

"Okay so I'ma get my clothes and take a shower." I say and go over to my wardrobe. I pick out a white shirt with a pink skirt and a scarf.

"Any chance I can join you?" Xavier asks. I let out a sigh.

"No Xavier." I say. He groans from inside the bathroom. I smile. I go inside the bathroom and push him out, locking the door.

'But I want to take a shower with mate!!!' Jeimy says. I shake my head no. She lets out a grunt.

'Fine, be like that bitch.' Jeimy says. I laugh out loud. My wolf has a sarcastic and whiney side. I step inside the shower and turn it on, the hot water relaxing my muscles. I let out a soft moan.

"I can have you moaning much louder than that when I'm making love to you." Xavier says from outside. I blush.

"Shut up!" I yell. Stupid pervert.

I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner, and I wash my body with dove soap. I rinse myself out and wrap a towel around me, drying myself off.

Shit I forgot my underclothes. I wrap my towel tightly around my body and leave the bathroom. I go over to my drawer and get a peach bra and matching underwear. When I look at Xavier, I see him trying to control himself and I run into the bathroom. I put on my underclothes and..... I forgot the fucking lotion.

Do I really need it? Yeah I do. My skin is really fucking ashy. Okay, let's take this risk.

I go outside in my underclothes ad grab the lotion. I turn around and see Xavier behind me. I scream and he pins my arms above my head, pushing me towards the bed.

"X-X-Xavier w-what are you doing?" I stutter. He smiles at me, yet his eyes are black. Shawn is in control. Fuck.

"So beautiful." Shawn says. His eyes roam my body, till they land on my stomach, where my huge scar is. He growls and I suddenly become self conscious.
