Chapter 11

Katniss POV
Recap
I mask my scent and head towards Xavier's scent and I find Xavier fighting another brown wolf.
Daniel.

I reveal my scent and both wolves stop fighting. Xavier walks over to me and grabs the shorts in his mouth. He throws it to Daniel and growls, signaling him to shift back and put on the shorts. Daniel takes the shorts and goes behind a tree. I run my finger through Xavier's hair, while waiting for Daniel to change. Daniel comes out with a stupid smile on his face.

"Hello my beautiful Kat. How's life?" Daniel says with a smile. Xavier growls at the word beautiful and gets in a pose, ready to attack him. I jump onto Xavier, as in telling him to calm down. He relaxes immediately. Daniel frowns at the sight and takes a step towards us. Xavier lets out a threatening growl and Daniel steps back with his hands in the air.

"Come on babe. I beat Samuel for alpha. You can be my sexy, beautiful Luna. You've always wanted to not be abused. Now is your chance to abuse them. Come on Kitty Kat. Come with me." Daniel says. Xavier growls at the nickname, the word sexy, and the word beautiful. He gets into attack position. He goes to jump and I shriek. Xavier stops and looks at me.

"Daniel, I suggest you leave. Today, I will become Luna of this pack. And you really think I want to abuse people. The only way I will hurt people is by self defense. And I don't I've a fuck if you beat Samuel. You're just as bad as him. Leave. Now." I snarl. He just laughs.

"Your so cute when you're mad." He laughs. I growl and jump off Xavier. My bones start to crack as I shift into my white wolf with black paws. I attack Daniel, scratching his face.

"Ow, what the fuck!" Daniel yells. He pins me to the ground and elbows my stomach. I wince and snap at his face. I hear bones cracking and Xavier had shifted back.

"Don't you dare shift back Kat." Xavier growls. I whine and look at him. He sees the look in my eyes and softens. He runs to Daniel and rips him off me. I flip myself and crawl behind a tree. I shift back and look at my stomach. It is yellow and brown. I wince and try mind linking Marisa.

'Marisa, can you bring me a two parts of short, underwear and a bra?'
I mind link. I hear bones crack.

'Make that three pairs of shorts.' I mind link. She replies almost instantly.

'Yes Luna. I'll be right there.' I sigh and collapse. She comes in five minutes and gives me the clothes. I put on the bra and the underwear, while slipping on the shorts. I look at Xavier and see him fighting Daniel. I whistle and they're head jerk to me. I throw them the shorts.

"Shift. Now." I growl. Xavier and Daniel shift and I close my eyes.

"Done." They say and I look at Xavier. He has a couple of scratches down his chest and a bite mark on his shoulder. Daniel has a bite mark on his ankle, thigh and arm, and he has scratches along his chest, face, and legs.

"Marisa, first bring me two wet cloths. When you come back, wait for me to say go, and bring a shirt. Then, bring Vanessa." I say. Marisa nods and heads to the pack house. Daniel frown at the name of Vanessa. He starts muttering something I can't catch. Then, he inhales deeply and growls.

"You guys shift one more time I will personally and literally kick your asses. So, no more clothes ripping. Got it?" I snarl. They nod, Daniel looking panicked, Xavier looking smug. Marisa comes back with two wet cloths. I nod.

"Marisa, take care of Daniel. After you clean him, you can go. I will take care of Xavier." I say. She nods and walks over to Daniel. She starts cleaning his wounds. I walk over to Xavier.

"Do you really think it's possible that Vanessa is Daniel's mate?" Xavier asks while I clean his neck. I shrug and nod my head. I go to his chest and a purr escapes him. I almost moan and start focusing on his neck. I frown and tilt his neck. It was already healed. I look at his chest and there was nothing.

"What the fuck?" I say and looks over at Daniel. His wounds were healed too. I frown at Xavier.

"Why do your bruises heal fucking fast? Mine don't." I say gesturing to my stomach. He noticed the yellow and brown bruise and a growl escapes him. I look at Marisa and nod. She walks away, once again heading to the pack house. Xavier inspects my wound.

"It's fine, Xavier, really." I say. He scoffs.

"It's always the same fucking story isn't it?" Xavier says. I shrug nonchalantly. He presses two finger to the bruise and I groan, clutching my stomach. He sighs.

"Always have to learn the hard way, dont ya?" He says. I nod and take a deep breath. Marisa comes back with a blindfolded and mouth taped Vanessa and two shirts. She throws one to Daniel and one to Xavier. They put on the shirts and that's when Daniel notices Vanessa.

"Vanes?" Daniel says shocked. Vanessa freezes and slowly takes off the blindfold, removing the tape.

"Dani?" She asks. He nods and runs over to her, hugging her.

"Oh my god, why is you leave? I was so fucking worried. Please don't ever do that again." Daniel says grabbing her and twirling her around. She giggles and me and Xavier are standing there, shocked and looking like idiots. Did she just giggle? Is she his mate or something? Boyfriend, girlfriend?

"What the fuck is going on?" Xavier says. I nod in agreement. Daniel sets Vanessa down and looks at her. She nods at him.

"She's my mate." Daniel says. What. The. Fuck.
