Part 6

I woke up and I went to the bathroom to take a shower. After a while, I realized I didnt bring any clothes with me. "Mum! Can you get me my skinny jeans and my blue tank top and my underwear and bra? Its on my desk! I forgot to take it with me!" I yelled.

A few seconds later, I heard a knock on the door. I opened it slightly and saw that the arm had a tatoo of some sort. The tatoo was temporary but I knew one person who could have that but i couldnt put my finger on it. I thanked whoever it was and got changed. I head to my room and saw an all too familiar face. But it couldnt be.. Could it?

"How?" I asked. " I missed you silly!" He said giving me a hug. It was Larz, my cousin since I was very young. I hugged him back and let the tears slide down my face. " I heard that your mum got a petition and you might be moving to New York in a year and your brother will be heading to New York in less than a week.. Is that true?" I paused for a moment and nodded. "Us moving to New York was already planned a long time ago. I just never thought it'd come so fast." I said wiping the tears from my eyes. "I'll miss you, kath.." Larz said hugging me. "I'll miss you too cuz but I wont be traveling til next year." I said slightly laughing. He smiled and layed in my bed. I headed to the bathroom and placed a little bit of foundation and a little eye liner.

"Why do you girls put make up on? Arent your natural looks enough?" Larz asked. "It is. Its just that. Amy makes me feel insecure ok?" I said. He placed his head down and hugged me from behind. "You're always beautiful,cuz" He said spinning me around. I blushed and looked at him. "Now, who's Zoren?" He said giving me a wink. He held up my phone and I saw that he had left me a message. "My best friend from another country." I said. "At least Im number one!" He sang walking away. I laughed at his silliness and read the message my best friend had left for me.

Zoren: kath! I miss you! :(
Me: aww thats cute! I missed you too...
Zoren: La Rae said thank you for telling me off.. We havent gotten back together but I apologized to her.
Me: Im so proud of you!!!
Zoren: You have any classes today?
Me: Nope! Its a Sunday so Im staying in. Sarah told me their dad wanted Trina to go to the beach with them so Im all yours bud!
Zoren: Finally! You've been busy lately and we hardly get to talk..
Me: ikr! I missed you but when this school year is over! We get to talk everyday!
Zoren: really? Can if be summer already?
Me: i wish ahah XD
Zoren: jess, how would u feel if someone close to you has a crush on you and he asked you out?
Me: I'd say no cause I have a crush on someone else..
Zoren: who???
Me: uh.. A guy ok?
Zoren: Oh really? I thought it was a gi! Oops my bad!
Me: I will hunt you down Zoren Sanders!!
Zoren: and what will you do kiss me? ;)
Me: Hell no! Who knew you were a huge flirt? xD
Zoren: me! Haha XD well igtg for a while ttyl!
Me: ok yeah bye!
Zoren: Never say bye. When you say bye its like your leaving forever...
Me: ok.. Jeeez! See ya soon!!
Zoren: Haha much better!

I ran downthe stairs and saw my aunt, my uncle and my other cousin Mackenzie. "Mackenzie!!!!" I ran to her tackling her to the ground. "Hello too Jessica!" She said hugging back and giggling. Mackenzie is Larz's older sister. Larz and I are both 13 and Mackenzie is 17 but she will be turning 18 next year and Im so excited!

I hugged my aunt and uncle and my dad told me that we are meeting the rest of the family during the steak out tonight. I jumped with excitment and dragged Mackenzie and Larz to my room. We talked for the next 3 hours catching up til we heard a knock on my door. I opened my door and was tackled by 3 guys. I knew exactly the scent so it was kinda obvious who they were. They were Jefferson, Johnjeff and Jeremy. Jefferson was 16, johnjeff was 15 and Jeremy was 12 like zoren. I hugged them each one by one.

"How have you been, little cousin?" Jefferson hugged me and let go. "Im fine thank you!" I hugged back and let go. "Jessie!!!!" Johnjeff said while we were doing our handshake. I smiled and left to hug Jeremy. I hugged Jeremy for about a minute cause Jeremy was like a little brother to me so I kinda love him the most out of the three. Im kidding.

We heard our names being called so we knew the stake out was about to begin. We saw the rest of our cousins and I saw that familiar face. That second degree cousin I used to have a crush on. Well technically, i never knew he was our cousin til the last day of summer. "Hey Jess, you look great." Luke said eyeing me from head to toe. "You too, luke" I said giving him a smile. I walked over to the rest of my cousins and we greeted each other our hellos and we all hugged. My aunt wanted to take a picture of us but together. I got partnered with Luke and clearly.. Larz wasnt too happy with it. You see. Luke and I almost dated but after we found out we were cousins he still wanted to go out so it scared me.

My aunt took the picture quickly and I ran to the dining room table. I opened my phone and smiled as I saw the edited photo of Zoren and I hugging. We looked like lovers.. Wait. What? That was just weird. I came back to reality when my neice,Ashley asked me for a piggy back ride race with Larz and Ariana. I nodded and we headed out to the garden. Larz and I were always competitive and so were Ashley and Ariana. So we decided to have a race whenever we meet.

A few seconds later, wen Ashley was on my back and I knew she was safe. The horn was blown and the race has begun. I ran as fast as I could and finally, we reached the finish line first. I saw Larz and Ariana stuck in the mud so I placed Ashley down and decided to help them. When I reached my hand out to help them, they pulled me in ghe mud too. My mum laughed at how immature we were and told us to clean up. I gave Larz one of the hoodie he had left and my brother's jeans. I gave Ariana my old skirt and blouse. I washed myself clean and changed into my jean type of shorts, black tube and my American sleeveless shirt but it had a huge cut in the side. I honestly dont know what its called. I headed to the living room and saw they were having a "look into the past" slideshow. It showed a couple of pictures of Larz and I. We were kinda super fat but we lost weight now. We stopped at a video. It was Larz and I doing the hulla. I covered my eyes and looked to see everyone laughing. I laughed along and videoed some parts of the dance and sent it to zoren.

Me: omfg! I saw this and I think you should check this out. Have a great day at school!

I pressed send and the night came by fast I guess and that was the best family steak out ever!
