"What's this?"
Hermione shakily dropped a silver key into the palm of Draco's hand.
"A key."
"I can see that Granger, I am not blind," Draco smirked. "Whatever for?" He placed it on his desk and moved a file to the side looking up at her.
Hermione felt her breathing pick up and quickly replied, "A key to my place." She turned towards the door and quickly started towards it.
The door slammed shut and locked before she could make it out.
Fuck.
Hermione whipped around to see Draco with his wand out. "To your flat?"
Her face felt warm, "Is that not what I just said? Hard to believe you were once so bright sometimes." Hermione attempted to place confidence in front of her words to avoid the discomfort she felt.
Draco stood from his desk and met her, "Don't be bashful, Granger." Draco chuckled, "You romantic, giving me a key." He snaked his hands around her waist and started kissing down her neck producing soft giggles that escaped her lips.
"It's usually a big deal for muggles. It Marks a step in a relationship. Rubbish in the wizarding world, I suppose," she paused. "I'm off now," she smiled, attempting to pull herself away from him.
"I know what muggles do, Hermione. Means a lot to me." He kissed along her neck and gripped onto her waist hard, "No, no, no, not yet, darling," he spoke softly. "Be ready to go to the cinema at 8 on the dot tonight, okay?"
"Cinema?"
He met her eyes and released her waist reluctantly. "Yes, Granger. Let's get out of the drab flat and go see a film in a cinema like muggles do."
"You really are a different character aren't you, Malfoy. Muggle activities now?" Hermione smirked, shaking her head.
"I really enjoy many muggle activities, Granger. Interesting lot," he grinned. "Stop acting so full of yourself, princess." He sneered. Draco rolled his tongue against his cheek, digging into his pocket, pulling out a few galleons. "Buy something nice for our date, darling," he spat, forcing the coins into her hand.
"Such a prat. It isn't a date, Draco."
"We have had many dates, Granger. You are in denial." He grinned and turned back to his desk.
Hermione scoffed, "You have never even asked me, you know?"
He turned back to meet her, laughing. "Touchy. Hermione, I was thinking of going to a muggle cinema tonight and wanted to know; would you care to come with me?"
She rolled her eyes, trying to stop a smile from forming, "I suppose."
"See you at 8, darling."
