"What're you two doing?" Yoongi asked, walking into the living room.
"Watching TV, but hyung was asking me if we've told any of the girls that we can speak and understand English," Jungkook told them. "Oh, I don't think we have. Never found it necessary since both of them know how to speak Korean. Why?"
Jin let out a sigh. "Jungkook, you're pretty chill when it comes to shocking news, but Yoongi. Please don't overreact."
Yoongi cautiously took a seat on the couch with a frown on his face, and both boys grew curious about what Jin had to say.
"I overheard the girls talk. I didn't mean to listen in, but I had to when I heard English. It was like an argument, but at the same, it wasn't..."
"What were they saying?" Jungkook asked with curious eyes causing Jin to let out a sigh.
"Lia was accusing y/n of doing something to us. You two in particular. She said because of her, the two of you have been acting differently around her. Then she asked if y/n was jealous of her. Jealous because she knows us longer than her."
Their eyes widened. "Lia said that?" Yoongi breathed. "And what did y/n do?"
"She asked Lia why she would be jealous of her. y/n also told her to ask the two of you instead of accusing her. She told her that as far as she knew, she was just a friend."
"What?" The three of them turned to see the rest of their soulmates standing with frowns on their faces.
"What the fuck Lia do?" Namjoon asked, causing Jin to let out a sigh.
"I knew it," Taehyung sighed. "My suspicions were correct. Instead of y/n being jealous, it's Lia. Now that she isn't the only girl in our lives, she doesn't like it. Hyung, where are you going? Yoon-"
Namjoon walked away, and Yoongi decided to follow.
In the guest room, the two of you were still at it. You were so close to slapping Lia, but you knew she could come up with some lie and use it against you.
"Lia, can you honestly stop? It's too late for this bullshit. The boys are going to realise I'm not around. Let me leave before they find out I'm here and ask why. Coming up with an excuse for this situation won't be as easy as lying to Jin about what we were really talking about."
You just wanted to be anywhere but here. Lia kept spewing nonsense, and you stopped listening to her a long time ago.
"Tomorrow is our three anniversary," she said. "And what does that have to do with me-"
You were cut off when the door flew open and fuming Namjoon and Yoongi stood at the entrance.
"What's going on?" Namjoon asked sternly. "We were just talking. Is something wrong?" Lia asked. "And what were you two talking about?"
"We were just talking about-" "About how y/n is jealous of us? Or rather, how long have you known us more than her?" Yoongi asked, causing Lia's eyes to widen.
"When you came in earlier asking me if you had something wrong... I didn't know that you actually had. Lia, what the fuck?" Namjoon breathed.
"You came into a house of very affectionate boyfriends. Just because y/n is a girl doesn't make it any different. How dare you be okay with us as the guys being affectionate with each other but then as soon as we're affectionate with y/n, it's a problem?"
"We have every right to be acting the way we've been with you. I mean, look at the shit you're doing. Talking to our girlfriend like that because you can't accept you're no longer the main woman in our lives? Pathetic. You may have known us longer than y/n has, but that doesn't matter. y/n is our girlfriend. You're just a friend."
"y/n baby, how long has this been going? How long has she been talking to you like this and asking such questions?" Namjoon asked, pinching the bridge of your nose.
"Today," you answered.
"Since I'm considerate, I want you out of our home tomorrow," Namjoon told her. Lia looked at him with wide eyes. "What? Why? What about tomorrow? Our anniversary?"
"I don't think the rest of the guys want to do anything with you tomorrow," Yoongi told her.
"Why are you guys acting like it's such a big deal? I never insulted y/n, nor did I-"
"You made her uncomfortable. You made her uncomfortable in a place where she's supposed to feel most comfortable. And if Jin hadn't listened in on your conversation... I would've allowed you to continue to do so," Namjoon sighed.
"I'm not going to waste any more of my breath on you... Let's go, y/n."
As soon as you left Lia's room, Namjoon didn't waste any time before pulling you in for a kiss.
"Lia isn't going to be happy if she walks out of the room and sees this," Yoongi chuckled as he ran his fingers through your hair. "I don't care. Not anymore, at least," he whispered against your lips.
"Look at Joon being Joon," Jin chuckled. "Let the pretty girl go, my love. She's got six other boyfriends wanting to see if she's okay."
.
"Really, guys, no hand was laid on another. I'm okay," you told them.
"How could you let her talk to you like that, though? Normally I'm against violence, but I swear I would've thrown hands. If you'd let me, I'd go and show her who's boss on your behalf!" Jungkook said.
"You can't even kill a fly, Jeon. You're too sweet to say anything mean or do something like that," Hoseok said. "I'm shocked Lia would say something like that."
"I don't get why you guys are making it seem like she insulted me- and Namjoon... is it necessary to kick her out?" You asked with a slight frown on your face. A little part of you felt bad, and you hated it. You wanted Lia out of the house and far away from your soulmates.
"Lia's got a big ass home she can stay in. She'll be fine," Namjoon huffed before getting up and disappearing to the rooms.
"He feels guilty and conflicted," Taehyung sighed. "Why do you say that?"
"Lia is close friends with Namjoon. Although we all agreed with Lia staying with us for a while... it's mainly because of him she's here. Sure we're friends with her, but her relationship with Namjoon is stronger than the one she has with ours. I mean, five years?"
"Namjoon feels guilty because he never asked you if you were comfortable with Lia staying over. We were, but we never checked if you were. Lia's his friend, but you're his girlfriend. You're our girlfriend. He doesn't like how Lia acted towards you, and he knows he has to do something to put her in line, but he doesn't know what to do," Jin explained.
"Tomorrow is our anniversary with Lia... but we don't even know if we'll celebrate it anymore. Now that I think about it... how would we have spent tomorrow?" Jimin asked. "The way we spent it before she went abroad?" Jungkook said, more like asked.
"I know, but y/n's in the picture now. y/n and Lia aren't friends... so would it make sense for the seven of us to go out and spend the day with Lia leaving y/n alone?"
"I really don't mind if you guys go out without me. This is a friendship between the eight of you. Even though I'm your soulmate. I don't think it'd be fair for me to ask you guys to not go out, so I'm not alone. I can spend the day with Haru-"
"I highly doubt we'll celebrate anything anymore. I don't want to be around Lia, knowing she doesn't like one of my soulmates. Knowing she doesn't like you. She'd landed herself on my shit list," Taehyung grumbled.
"Shit list?"
"I have a hate list and a shit list. The hate list is for people I don't like for reasons, but the shit list consists of people who fucked with any of my soulmates."
By the passage to the rooms stood a figure. Lia watched as the seven of you talked as if she couldn't decide to reveal herself and walk-in.
'I need to redeem myself,' she thought before turning around and returning to her room.
'No matter what.'
