It has been about two weeks since I have been in New York and me and Javon haven't had any time to talk recently because I am either sleeping or modeling, and he is always filming on set. But I have been kept sane by Erica and Indi, two girls I met during a shoot I had the other week. I have been bummed about not talking to Javon but Erica and Indie have helped.
Today we have decided to do a little retail therapy and go out for lunch. I hurry and get dressed and start on my makeup. But don't get too far when I am interrupted by my phone ringing.
Incoming call for Jadennn🤢🪳
"What's up ren, I haven't talked to you in a while"
"Yeah, it has been a long two weeks," I say sighing.
"How is New York?"
"It's fine, I have met some people, but haven't had much time to explore," I explain while gelling my hair back.
"Oh, I was just checking up on you," h says bringing the call to an end.
"Ok bye, Jaden talk to you later."
"Bye"

After what feels like an eternity I finally get my hair how I want it. I exit the bathroom of my apartment, which I got moved into a couple of days ago, and grab my purse. I check and see if everything I need is in reference and proceed to walk out of the door.

I walk up to the small restaurant my friends wanted to eat at and see them at an outside table. Erica sees me and waves me over. I walk over to them and sit down.

Javon Pov:
It has been about two weeks since I last seen Ren so I decided I would fly out today and we could hang out tomorrow. I grab my bags and walk out to the car put my things in the trunk and get in the passenger seat.
"Took you long enough, she scolds.
"Jayla it's only been five minutes" I argue.
She rolls her eyes and we pull off.

Once we get to the Airport I say bye to Jayla.
"Make sure you tell Serenity I said Hey," she says rolling down the window.
"I will" I reassure her before she pulls off.
I go straight to security and bagging just to get it over with. When I'm done I look at my plane ticket to see where my gate is.
It's 2:45. That is enough time to get something to eat and walk back to board the plane. I go to this deli and grab a sandwich and start to eat it on the way to the gate. I sit nearby with my earbuds in my ear waiting to get on the plane.

Serenity pov:
Once we all are done eating we begin to walk the new york streets searching for some shops. I see a shoe shop and It reminds me of the time me, Jayla, and Javon went to the mall.
We all decide on going in and as soon as I walk in a nice pair of sneakers catch my eye. Indi and Erica walk around not seeming too interested.
"We will be in that shop right across the street when you're done" Indie eventually says pointing in the direction of an H&M.
I nod and continue to look around. I see these blue Balenciaga tennis shoes and I give in. I mean I've been working hard so why not give myself a treat? I ask a nearby worker for the shoe in my size before continuing to look around even more.
Before I know it I have another pair of shoes for me and two that I picked out for Javon. I plan on giving these to him when I see him next, hopefully soon.
After checking out and spending almost three bands I decide it's a good idea to meet back up with Erica and Indie before I go bankrupt.
I walk across the street and step into the H&M looking for the pair. But it doesn't take me a while before I see them at the register, holding up the line with a mountain of clothes.
" Yup, they are truly my friends," I chuckle making my way towards them.
