{Lily's POV}
"Hello internet!" I hear a voice say from the room next door. I've heard that intro so many times and I knew the voice by heart. It was Dan. I thought back to when I used to be that little girl starring at my computer screen waiting for Dan to upload his new video and re-watching his old videos to pass the time. But now...there he was...in the room next to me...in OUR new flat. I still can't believe he's mine.
I grabbed my jacket and headed towards our room. When I got to the door I could hear that he was still filming his new video and I didn't want to interrupt him. I took a piece of paper from the counter to write him a note telling him I was going out to Nandos for lunch with some friends. I slipped the not under the door, grabbed my keys and headed out.
I pulled up to Nandos and took out my phone to see if my friends were close. I had one new message from Patty saying that she would be a little bit late because of the snow. I decided to text Marissa to see where she was. I got a text back right away saying that she just pulled up. I hadn't seen Patty and Marissa for a while because Dan and I were just starting to settle into our flat, so I didn't have much time to hang out with them. I hopped out of my car and headed inside. I found a table and sat down. I saw Marissa come through the doors and immediately I sprang up and gave her the biggest hug.
"How have you been?! What's up? I feel like I haven't seen you in ages!" Marissa said, sitting down across from me.
"I've been great! Dan and I have just been getting used to our new flat, but other than that nothing much! How about you??"
"Well....I have some news." Marissa said with a big grin across her face.
"What is it?!" I asked eagerly.
"Well..." Marissa said, "last night I was out at a party and right as I got there, I saw none other than Jack and Finn walk through the door!"
"Oh my gosh! My boys! How are they?? We all really need to get together soon." I said.
"Yeah! We should! I miss having the old crew around."
"Anyways, back to your news!" I smiled.
"Umm...well....me and Finn kinda...ya know..."
"Spit it out, Marissa!" I yelled.
"We kissed..." She said quietly.
"OH MY GOSH! Marissa this is so exciting! Have you talked to him since?" I asked.
"Yeah...he called me right before I left this morning."
"And?" I nudged her arm.
"He asked me to go steady with him." She said smiling so big her whole face was lite up. Marissa had liked Finn ever since they had met at a party senior year. She was kind of shy around him at first but they became really good friends after a while. I was so happy for her! She was the sweetest girl and she was such a good match for Finn. I heard a voice screaming my name. It was Patty! I was so happy to see her! My mind still on Finn and Marissa, I quickly blurted out "Finn and Marissa are going steady!!!" Patty looked over at Marissa, flailing her arms, and congratulating her. Patty was always so excited when we told her big news. She slid into the booth next to Marissa and started asking loads of questions.
{Dan's POV}
I closed my laptop, satisfied with my new video. I hadn't uploaded anything for a while becuause I really wanted to focus on me and Lily. We had just gotten our own flat. I'm so glad that I met her. She makes me feel like I am the luckiest man alive...I got up, grabbed my favorite sweatshirt from closet and started scrolling through my twitter feed. There were already so many people talking about my new video. It makes me so happy when I see that my danosours like my new videos. I clicked off of twitter and decided to go get something to eat. On my way through my bedroom door I found a note. It was from Lily. "Hi babe. Just going out to Nandos with Patty and Marissa for a while. I'll be home soon. Text me if you need anything. I love you. -Lily".
Man. I really wanted some Nandos now. I whipped out my phone and started to write a message to Lily. "Hey Lil. Do you mind if I join you guys at Nandos? I'm starving." I set my phone down on my desk and started getting some clothes out. I heard my phone buzz and quickly ran over to it. "No problem! We are just about to order...what do you want? I'll order for you now if you want". I sent her back my order and hopped in the shower really fast.
I threw on my jeans, a t-shirt, and some sneakers, did my hair, and walked into the kitchen area. Looking out the window, I could see that it was really snowy out, so i grabbed my heavy jacket and hopped into the car.
I walked into Nandos and sat down next to Lily, saying hi to Marissa and Patty. I kissed Lily on the cheek and asked her what they had been up to. "Nothing much...just chatting and catching up." She said. "Oh that's cool" I said looking over at Marissa, who was smiling out of control. "What up with you smiley pants?" As I asked, I saw Lily and Patty giggling and nudging Marissa. Marissa looked up at me and said "Well I thought Finn would have already told you, but he asked me out this morning."
I couldn't believe it! One of my best mates was in a new relationship. Finn and I had been going to school together since kindergarden and we have been really close ever since. "Wow. Congradulations Marissa!" I shouted "You two are gunna be great together."
