{Patty POV}
I walked into Nandos to find Jackamo behind the counter. I had forgotten that he works at Nandos. I usually just ordered online. "Hey babe!" I said excitedly. As I gave him a hug from the opposite side of the counter. "What can I get for my favorite customer?" Jack winked at me. "The usual." I said laughing. He knew that I never ordered anything but my favorite. The chicken. It was soo good. "Is that for here or to go?" He asked me. "To go." I replied. "Where ya headed?" He questioned. "I was going to visit my mum on the other side of town." I said moving aside so the next customer could order.
{Jack's POV}
It was good to see Patty before she took off to see her mum. I grabbed my bag and started heading out as my shift ended. Before I got to the doors...my manager stopped me. He had a really serious face on. Shit. What was happening. "Jack. We need to talk." I could feel my palms sweating. I knew what was coming. Right as he said it, it hit me hard. I was fired. Damn it. How was I going to find another job? I needed money to pay my half of the bills for the flat. What was I going to do? "I understand. Thank you. Goodbye" I threw my bag over my shoulder and left. That just happened. I wasn't dreaming.
