Hello to you lovely people.
Today I cried while writing the final scene of Gunnar's Redemption.
As Beau recalled the past events, I got emotional. Because, though I didn't write out most of the memories, I could see them and feel them. I was talking about this last night as I wrote a little, I said, "I don't think I'll cry or get emotional about the ending because I'm content with leaving it." And that part was true, but as I wrote the final scene, something I didn't plan on adding, I cried.
This story has such a dear place in my heart because as Honeydew grew, I grew, as Beau grew, I grew, as Hunter grew, I grew, as Gunnar grew, I grew, and as Selene grew, so did I.
I couldn't write a story with such emotional depth and spiritual growth, without growing myself. I want to always write authentic stories, not just words put together that seem right.
I pray that my story was authentic enough for you all.
As of this moment, I'm deciding what comes next.
It's in God's hands, but I still have to seek Him to know, I want His best for you all. But it won't take too long, don't worry.
I hope that the ending of this story tied everything together and you all got what I was putting out. Love covers all, but not worldly love. No. Worldly love will get you nowhere, but disappointment and an eternity without God.
God's love is infinite, it's a fire that never goes dim. He is faithful and I enjoy the fruit of His spirit every day.
I pray that you all find who you are in Him and rest in Him. He's the absolute best hiding place, fortress, whatever you need.
I don't have much else to say, only THANK YOU!
To all of my readers, whether you comment, vote, or just read silently, thank you. I've appreciated everything. Thank you.
As I depart, saying my farewells, my only prayer is that the message of this story touched your heart enough to lead you to the One, God, my Jesus, my love.
He loves you and He wants to know you, let His love lead you to repentance, turning away from your sins, and you allow Him to lead you every single day.
So many people believe that peace of mind every single day is impossible. It's not. I'm living it and it's not just something God chose especially for me. No.
You get the fruit of His Spirit as you give Him your all.
Anywho, I've loved this two-month journey and I can't wait to begin again!
Adios, for now!
Jasmyn Tailor
