Twisted

deal or no deal

   Tim was still at home when he received an email from Al Nasr that he was being sold to Boca Juniors based in Argentina.

   He was opened to the idea as he wanted to forget his one season stay in Abu Dhabi.

   The racist abuse, cheating and most importantly loosing his child. He traveled to Argentina to pen a five year contract deal worth twenty million dollars.

    That was more than what he earned at Al Nasr. He left behind his girlfriend and his two month old daughter.

  He wished to stay with Debby for a little longer but he still needed to provide for her.

   Moving away would also be helpful to his self conscious. Looking at Debby almost made him reveal to Shila that he had impregnated Mia.
  
   Tim returned four months later during the international break. Debby was now six months old and had began eating food other than the breast milk.

   Shila insisted that he should go and meet Mike and he wondered what was the reason of having lunch with the guy who used to be in love with his girlfriend.

   But after listening to Mike's ideologies, he was more than willing to work with him.

   Mike was running for Governor and he needed help from someone whom people knew.

   The youth admired Tim as an incredible football player. For the two weeks that he was in Kenya, they visited the children's homes, hospitals and Tim promised to build his own academy to help nurture the talent.

  After all this, Tim went back to Argentina with the projects already being executed.

  His former teammates were informed of the project and they were more than willing to offer the financial support.

   "Can I come see her?" Mike pleaded.

   "No! We had a deal, I get Tim to work with you and you leave my daughter alone."

  "But she is my daughter."

   "You may see her once but that's it. You stay away from my family.'

Mike had found out that shila was pregnant and he was pretty sure that she was carrying his child.

   After shila gave birth, Mike bribed a  nurse who brought him the baby's saliva.

   The D.N.A carried out proved that he was the biological father of Debby.

  Shila and Mike then struck a deal. He would stay away from Debby if Tim helps him to become the next Nairobi governor.

  The door bell to shila's apartment rang and she walked to open it. She was happy to see Claire standing infront of her.

    It had been long since the two met. Since shila gave birth, she only stopped by the clinic every once in a while.

    "How is the pregnancy?" Shila asked her friend.

    "It's fine but so tiresome."

Shila laughed.

   She was only five months pregnant but she looked so tired.

   "Wait till you turn eight months pregnant."

   "Is it heavier?"

Shila just burst out into more laughter then served her friend a glass of apple juice.

   "Two months to your wedding. Are you excited?"

    "I'm nervous." Shila admitted.

   There was so much to do and at the moment she still had to look after Debby.

     Luckily Claire will be there to help her with whatever she will need.

  Shila then told her best friend about Mike who was not going away. She was thinking about telling Tim that Debby was not his daughter but she knew that will break him.

  She will make a decision after she gets married.

Tim was a changed man in Argentina.  His relationship with the maid was strictly professional as he wanted nothing to do with side chicks.
 
   He had struggled to adapt to the new life in Argentina but after returning to the pitch from the international break, he was a different player.

   He was banging goals for fun making his reputation to grow further.

   Tim together with a couple of friends in Argentina decided to  build another stadium in his home country which majorly influenced the election.

   Mike with no doubt emerged victorious accumulating more than half of the votes in the city.

  Mike was now following his father's footsteps who had now retired and his son took over from him.

   Shila was more than happy when Mike won the election. This would mean that he would have to keep his promise and never tell Tim about  Debby.
