"Do you ever feel like you are being watched?"

"Yeah, I'm always watched by my fans."

"Stop it, I'm serious right now."

Tim moved closer and kissed his wife on the forehead.

"You worry too much, everything is fine. Tim reassured her.

Tim got out of bed and went to the balcony attached to the master bedroom and Shila followed him behind closely as she saw that his mind was somewhere else.

  "I'm thinking of retiring."

"Shila was more than happy to hear him say those words. Two years into their marriage and she only gets to see her husband every once in a while. That's when the season comes to an end and he barely stays home for a month.

Sometimes she pays him a visit in Argentina and the kids get to see their father. Debby who is now three years old is mostly affected as she greatly misses her dad when he is away.

She bothers her mom who has to video call Tim almost every night as Debby refuses to eat when she has not spoken to her dad.

The news was warmly received by shila. She backed him up with facts that they will not lack anything. Tim had hugely invested back in Kenya and the kids education was secured.

The kid's account had enough savings to finish school, and their mom's clinic business was still booming. As for Tim if he still wanted to play, no local club will say no to a good professional football player.

The two agreed that he will terminate his contract as soon as he lands in Argentina.

"When will you get your daughter a car?" Shila asked.

Tim smiled when he recalled the day that he received the good news about the pregnancy. His son's pregnancy.

He had bought a BMW X6 as a wedding present but when shila informed him that she was pregnant, he told her to use the car until Noah will be old enough to drive it.

Apparently he has to be fair and get his daughter her own car.

"I'll give her my own car." He replied as he went downstairs to check on the kids who were playing with their toys.

Claire noticed the joy on her friends face. The last time that she was these happy was when she delivered Noah and her joy of giving birth to a healthy son could not be compared to anything.

Claire occasionally brought her daughter Olivia to play with Debby and Noah as Emmanuel left for work. Debby was only a few months older than Olivia hence they we're practically age mates.

Claire and Shila had a chat for a while and Shila happily told her friend that Tim would finally help her raise their children.

    "Is he finally staying here?"

   "Yeah."

    "Ooh! It's late."

Tim was not yet back and Shila began to worry.

"He never comes home late." Shila complained.

She tried to call his phone but it was out of reach. Strange. Claire excused herself as she needed to take Olivia home otherwise she would have stayed with shila.

"Text me when he gets home." With that Claire left with her daughter.

Shila spent the whole night on the couch waiting for her husband to show up. She was shaking and she felt really strange. She prayed to God to protect her husband.

Claire arrived early in the morning to accompany shila to the police station to file a report of a suspected missing person.

They had a friend who was a police officer and he was essential in speeding up with the search. He wrote down important details especially the car that he had left in.

The search immediately began for a black BMW X7. Tim was in love with BMW brand.

After that the two friends went for a search of their own. They searched all the hospitals and police stations in the city but to no avail.

   "Should we try the mortuary?"

The stare given to Claire suggested that her friend did not consider Tim to be dead. She began trembling and Claire had to hold her.

    "Let's just try."

Claire finally convinced her and they drove to the city morgue. They confirmed all the bodies that had been brought in the last twenty four hours and luckily Tim was not among them.

They checked the rest of the morgues in the city and they sighed with relief when he was not found. They finally gave up and went home.

Two days passed when shila was finally contacted by the police.

"We found his car abandoned in Nakuru."
