Tim waited patiently for the final two games to come to an end. This would mean that he would only have three weeks to fully prepare for his wedding.

Luckily, Robert was helping him back at home. He took charge of his suit and they only needed Tim to come and do the fitting.

The venue had already been booked, invitation letters sent and most importantly, the honey moon had also been planned for.

"You just had to surprise me?."

Shila could not control her emotions. She ran to the door and hugged Tim who dropped his bags so as to carry her and twirl a little bit.

The sweet aroma spread across the living room and Tim couldn't wait to have a taste at what was being prepared.

    "Where is Debby?"

"She's fast asleep. You just sit down and let me serve you."

Tim first went to freshen up and minutes later, he was enjoying his  lasagna prepared by shila. She knew his taste and that was what made him love her even more.

Debby was now awake and she noticed a stranger in their house. Tim took Debby from her mom and surprisingly, she was not resisting. Although he was not always there, she felt the bond.

Moments later the little girl was sleeping comfortable in her dad's arms.

"She sleeps alot." Her mom whispered.

They took her upstairs and Shila  carefully placed her on the bed and slowly tiptoed out of the room.

   "Are you nervous?" He enquired.

   "Just a little bit."

"Please don't leave me at the alter." He added staring straight into her beautiful eyes.

"I won't. I have longed for this day for too long. She said smiling.

The maid was away and with Debby in slumber they had all the time to themselves.

Tim put his hands on her waist and she placed hers around his neck as they danced slowly in the living room enjoying the 80's RnB.

"Hurry up Shila we are going to be late." Claire panicked. Her friend was taking more time than expected to avail herself outside the house.

Claire went back to get her and as she was approaching the door, she heard her friend sobbing.

"Are you alright?" She asked as soon as she opened the door.

Her eyes were red and filled with tears.

"I miss him and I just wish that he was here with me today."

Claire understood the reason for her friend's sadness. She was missing her dad and although they were not always in good terms, he was still her biological father.

"Stop crying, you will ruin your makeup." Claire reminded her while trying to calm her.

She gave her a tissue and hugged her for some seconds. Moments later they were in the limo heading for the church where Tim was waiting impatiently.

Marriage is great but there are things that scare people alot. The thought of spending your entire life with a single partner is what pushes people away from marriage. Well until "death do you part" as they often say.

Shila slowly walked down the aisle looking beautiful in her wedding gown. Her uncle held her hand as they walked to the alter to hand her over to the groom. She briefly raised her head and saw Tim in a tuxedo.

     " Wow!"

She couldn't believe that she was getting married to the most awesome man she knew. A good and caring man and although far, he was always there when she needed him.

Vows were exchanged and after saying "I do," he put the ring on her finger.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Tim did not waste anytime in doing that. Everyone cheered including Debby who was in the hands of her Grandmother.

"I have something to tell you." Shila began when the two were finally alone.

"What, you bought me the black Mercedes outside the gate?" He teased.

   "No silly." She laughed

Upon arrival, Tim had discovered a Mercedes Benz parked outside the gate. The car was still there during the after party.

"Maybe the owner is one of our many guests." He thought.

Tim was famous and news about him getting married had spread all over the internet like wild fire. He therefore thanked the planners as they did an exquisite job in handling the number of guests who had arrived at the venue as well as ensuring the food and drinks had been served to each and every guest without discrimination.

Football fans were happy but some few ladies were sad to see another prominent rich  celebrity to be taken so soon.

"So what do you have for me? He asked.

Shila smiled then took a deep breath and she asked Tim to close his eyes. He did as requested and waited to receive his gift.

   "Babe..."

   "Yeah."

   "I'm pregnant."
