Once we finished up with the Cullen's we headed back to our house. Rose and Emmett came with us because we are starting the transformation this evening.
When we get home I see Emily, Kim and Leah all holding the babies. My heart warmed at the site of my puppies and I went to hold them.
After cuddling with them the rest of the pack came and settled down around us. Fen and Bucky were with rose and Emmett starting the process. As I am holding Dakota, I see Embry look over at her in a loving way. Oh you gotta be kidding me.
"Did you just?" I asked him.
Paul looks over at Embry and he pales realizing he imprinted on Paul's daughter. "Well at least you'll take care of her better than Jacob. Just don't fuck up like him." He says. Embry nods his head.
"Do you want to hold her?" I asked him. He smiles and nods his head again moving over next to me. I hand her over "just like that, and support the head" I tell him.
He's looking at her and she's staring up at him giving him a gummy smile and giggling. He leans down and kisses her nose and forehead pulling her close to his chest. He keeps watching her as she's falling asleep with her hand placed against his chest.
My heart could melt at the sight. So precious.
Over the next couple of days we haven't heard anything from the Cullens. It should be any time now before Emmett and Rose wake up.
Emily and I are feeding Dakota and Juliet. I look over and see Atlas staring at Juliet. I giggle when he smiles at her.
"He for sure is he's fathers son." I say. Emily looks up and me then over the Atlas seeing him looking at Juliet.
"That is true. I'm still not sure how sam feels about his daughter already having a soulmate." She says.
"Hey at least it gets to start at a young age and not have to deal with heart breaks hopefully. I mean look at him, he's already got heart eyes for her." I says. Emily starts to laugh knowing how true it was. We decided to experiment something.
I put Dakota in Embry's arms and then took Atlas and laid him down in his crib. Emily soon brings Juliet over and lays her down next to Atlas. Not much longer after laying them next to each other, they snuggle up together.
"Awe.." Emily and I say at the same time. So we leave them like that.
Soon Paul and Sam come back inside looking for their pups. When sam and Paul see Atlas and Juliet Paul laughs and sam is not so happy.
"Oh no I don't think so. That boy can wait and sleep with my daughter when they are older" he says picking his daughter up.
Atlas opens his eyes and is staring sam down as he takes Juliet from him. We are watching the stare down take place and eventually sam caves and puts Juliet back next to him because she began to whine. Atlas smiles having her close again and goes back to sleep with her. Juliet of course calmed down and fell asleep too.
"You better watch yourself. She's still my little girl and royal family or not I'll kick your ass if you break her heart." Sam says.
Emily and I are dying at this point watching the scene take place. About an hour after everything happened fen and Bucky walk down with Rose and Emmett. They looks amazing. Not as pale but still just as beautiful.
"You guys look great!" I say walking over to them.
Rose hugs me "thank you. It's nice to feel alive again." She says tearing up. When the tear falls, more start to fall out. She was so overwhelmed with happiness she couldn't stop crying. So I did the one thing to snap her out of it.
I walked her over to show her Atlas and Juliet snuggling together and that snapped her out of crying.
"Oh Ri, this is so precious." She says.
"You should've seen sam go all dad mode seeing a Lahote sleeping next to his daughter already." I say giggling again. She starts to laughing imagining what happened.
"Alright we are taking Emmett out to phase and will be back once it's done." Paul says.
"Okay babe. Goodluck Emmett." I say.
After a few hours the guys come back laughing and having a good time. Emily and I were making some food and help Rose learn her way around the kitchen now. As the guys came in Emmett looked for rose. When he found her he stopped and was in a daze. He was imprinting on her.
"Well at least you know you're true mates. From vampire to wolf!" I say.
Everyone gathers around the table as Emily and I place the food on it. We sat and talked for hours about random things. Paul even started talking to them about the supernatural kingdom. They were shocked but all of them said they would like to but apart of the pack.
I told them about their options of still phasing or taking the mix to stay alive forever. They all seemed to like that idea and the fact they can be in a place and not worry about getting out to the humans.
We ended up having a movie night last minute with the pack. We were all just enjoying each other's company and didn't want to leave. Considering Paul and I were gone for two years we wanted to spend as much time with them making up for lost time.
Emily and I put the kids down for the night and we all ended up crashing in the living room on the floor and couches. It was a perfect day after the whole "kidnapping" shit that went down a few days ago.
Hopefully the Cullens take Paul's warning because if not, I know my husband well enough to completely end them.
