Russell and Calvin soon made it to the lair as they walked out of the elevator. Calvin carried Hurricane by his side as he had a look around, raising a eyebrow with curiosity. "So...this is like, your main base or something?"
"Has been ever since I bought it." Russell added, lifting the dusty white sheet off to reveal the Larva Ship, which hadn't been used for a while. Calvin eyed up the large ship in front of him, wondering how it could fit under such a small empty bowling alley. "Think that thing can get us to wherever we're going?"
"Trust me, this baby's still got a few tricks underneath her sleeve." Russell softly patted the side of it, making the ship creak a bit as he got nervous. "As many tricks it can still have, I suppose."
The ship's doors would slowly lower down as the two men would make their way inside. Russell got to the front and started up the engine while Calvin would strap Hurricane down carefully and grab onto something.
As they were flying the ship out into the sky, Russell just didn't know yet that Calvin had a hidden agenda of his own. Right now, he was just biding his time and going along with what Russell was doing. Even if he could be going back to step one, with him most likely being held behind bars with other villains, it was all apart of his plan.
Russell turned towards Calvin with a curious look. "You've been quiet for awhile. What's up?"
"I just got a lot of shit on my mind right now." Calvin replied, trying to cope with the fact that he had powers now right out of the blue.
"You and me both." Russell said, thinking about how his wife and stepson must feel about him right now. One week, he's watching Wilbur walk across the stage for his science diploma. The second week, he runs back into the Rescue Alliance: the last people he ever wanted to reach out to. And now, he has to wrangle up a bunch of supervillains who are taking over the city. Go figure.
They soon landed by the DSB facility, where they were soon stopped midair by Everseeker and Captain Justice For All. "Step out of the ship and put your hands in the air!" Everseeker said as she hovered in front of the Larva Ship.
"Oh my God, not these fucking assholes..." Russell scoffed before getting out his megaphone attach to the ship. "Eves, it's me. Open the damn door."
Everseeker was skeptical, along with CJ. "How do we know if it's really you?"
"Motherfu- who else do you know with a bug shaped aircraft?" Russell said with an exhausted groan.
Everseeker used her cosmic sight to scan the ship for any intruders. The results were negative. "The ship is secure. Let him in." She radioed in with Coffman and landed back on the ground. The ship would be parked into the garage as armed forces would approach the ship. The large doors in front lowered down as Russell led Calvin outside to be handcuffed, dampening his powers. "There's another one inside, but he's unconscious."
They would nod at Russell and take the icy crook to his holding cell, along with Hurricane as he was comatose. He would turn over towards Everseeker and crossed his arms. "Where's my wife?"
"The real question should be where's Red Dragonfly? He was supposed to be back with you." Everseeker said with concern.
"We got separated from each other but he'll be here." Russell added. "I trust him. This isn't the first time he's been on his own."
