" Ok , ok tell me everything " Ms.Anika said as we all sat at the table to eat

" Okay so , you know we broke up and- "

" Ummmm , tell her Twon " I nudged him and he sighed

" Me and Mo broke up bout a year ago. A bad break up so we ain talked since. She moved to Columbus and this her first time being back. She had Tay contact me so she could meet wit me and let me know bout Ant. "

" Why y'all broke up ? What happened ? " Ms.Mary his grandma asked and this time we both sighed

" Um , there was a fight and Mo went to the hospital where she found out she was pregnant and at that time Antwon was already gone and I could not reach him so when Mo woke up I told her the news and after maybe a week she finally got out the hospital and she left in the middle of the night and moved to Columbus. " My mama spoke up.

" A fight between who ? " His mama asked

" The two of us " I said

" So I know you got shot , that's around the time we started talkin again. Did Monica shoot you ? " His mama asked him

" No her brother did , but I talked to him last night and everything cool. "

" Why did Sincere shoot you ? " His grandmother asked.

" Because of the fight " He said

" You put your hands on her ? " His mama asked and he nodded

" It was a fight " Was all he said

" Antwon you put your fuckin hands on her ? is that why you were in the hospital ? " She asked me and I shook my head

" I was in the hospital because of the fight but not because of physical damage. "

" Well you did have your jaw wired for a few days , but they put her in a medically induced coma so that her and the baby would both be healthy without her being able to eat " My mama said and that was news to me

" When the hell that happened ? " I asked her

" So , you been in Columbus for the past 5 months ? " mama #2 asked me

" Almost a year , I left the night I got out the hospital. "

" So you went through your whole pregnancy alone ? "

" Yes ma'am but that was by my choice. I just needed some time. "

" Are you better now ? " She asked

" Much better " I smiled watching Twon play wit Ant

" Antwon are you ready for this responsibility ? a family ? " She asked him and he immediately nodded his head

" Bye mama ima come by tomorrow , I love y'all. " I kissed her and pops cheek before we left.

I sat in the backseat wit Ant since Twon didn't have a car seat
