next morning

I woke up when I felt Ant start moving. I sighed and patted his back before falling back asleep.

Soon I felt his body move and my eyes popped open. I saw Twon , shirtless , asleep next to me and he had grabbed Ant and put him on his chest which is something he always did.

I sat up and got out of the bed before going to the bathroom. I stared at myself in the mirror and I honestly looked like shit. I stayed up pretty late crying until like 3:30 since everyone was asleep. But today I feel like absolute shit.

I started my shower water before sitting on the toilet while brushing my teeth.

I had hella text messages from my mama and Tay

mama: You want me to come out there ?

Twon slowly walked in the bathroom as I was getting in the shower and I sighed

" Morning " He groggily said

" Good Morning Monica " He spoke again since I ignored him

" Good Morning Monica " Ms Anika spoke as I sat at the counter

" You okay ? " She whispered to me and I shook my head

" Good morning to all ! " Gran Mary yelled as she walked in

She came behind me and hugged me then kissed my cheek

" Good Morning my girl " She smiled brightly at me and my eyes watered

" Uh mama I think you need to go find Twon " Ms Anika blurted out

" Oh lord what he do now ? " She stormed off to go find him as I silently sobbed

" Monica you are going to be okay " Ms Anika sat down next to me and rubbed my back

" I'm so hurt , my heart hurts. I was up all night crying , I'm heartbroken. "
" I wanna go home " I cried

" ANTWON " She shouted and he soon appeared

" I'm gonna go get our stuff together so we can leave. Ms Anika can you tell your son to book our tickets please ? " I softly said and he instantly smacked his lips

" I don't have anything to say to you sir " I said and Tay let out a giggle

" You can't make her talk to you Twon , I don't know what you did but clearly she's done. "

" I really don't wanna hear that shit gran , I said she ain leaving til she talk to me. "

" And I said ion have shit to say to you now book the fuckin tickets or ima book em myself and have you reimburse me. " I got louder

" Book the tickets Twon " I heard his mama say as I walked away

" I wanna be out this bitch on the next thing smoking too so get on it ! " I yelled as I went to gather my stuff.

" Mo I think you should talk to him " Tay said when she came in the room and sat on the bed

" I can't even look at him Taylor , how ima talk to him ? What could he possibly have to say to me ? "

" The plane leaves at 3:45 " She finished before she got up and walked out

I checked the time on my phone and saw it was 2:50

I don't have anything to say to Twon and I can't imagine what he could possibly have to say to me..

I went in Ms.Anika's room and saw the balcony doors open , I smelled weed so I knew it was Twon. I just simply went out there and sat next to him

" You got 5 minutes " I told him

" I'm sorry " He passed me the blunt

" What are you sorry for ? " I accepted the blunt and continued to stare straight ahead

" You can't look at me forreal ? " He asked and I shook my head

He stood up and squatted infront of me grabbing my free hand which so happened to be my left one. His finger grazed over the tan from where my ring was.

" I'm sorry for everything , I shoulda never put you through this. We supposed to be planning our wedding. Baby , I swear to you allat shit was just me thinking wit my dick but you got my heart. " He said and I simply handed him the blunt back

" You accept my apology ? " His voice cracked and I shook my head as a tear fell

My phone started ringing and I rolled my eyes and answered

" Hey where you at ? we gotta head to the airport " Tay's voice rang out of the speaker

" Here I come " I said before ending the call.

I stood up and Twon did the same

" I love you Monica " I heard him say as I walked away.
