Hero, Huntress, Knight, Alien and Squirrel

Chapter 2

Back in Bellwood, the sun was shining bright once more, people and aliens walking side by side.

All is well, (BOOM) except for the rampaging giant golden robot that is trashing the town. "Come on! Before I could even start rampaging?!" Yelled a voice from inside, who happened to be Billy Billions. "Come on Billy, where's your sense of excitement!" Said a rather cheerful Humungousaur. With a large crowd watching the fight and recording. The vaxesaurian then tackled the robot down before picking it up above him, "here comes a Spino-Suplex!" with a mighty jump Ben had flipped him over and crushed the robot's head in. "Seriously?! This literally costed me a nearly a fortune to make, the head alone is worth a thousand dollars!"

"And let me ask, who's the dummy who thought that making a giant robot to kill me was a good idea?" Ben asked smirking. Then, to add insult to injury, he got off and tore the arm of the Mech off, "oh-really?! The arms are the hardest to replace!" Billy complained, "yeah yeah I heard that from Vulcanus already" Humungousaur remarked waving it off. He then climbed to the top of a small five story building, looking down on Billions's Robot. "And from the top rope!" Billy immediately shot up and stared at his enemy wide eyed realizing what he was about to do. "Don't you dare Tennyson!" He said, "Ursa Major Body Slam!!!" The dinosaur like alien announced before jumping off the building and crashing down on the robot. With Billy shooting out in an escape pod and rolling around, clearly dizzy from the one sided fight, "oh man."

After he had exited the pod Ben, who turned into Snare-Oh!, had shot several bandages at him and tied him up "gah?! Come on! I can't even make a quick getaway anymore!" Billy yelled in frustration. "Can't handle the time, don't do the crime shrimp" Ben chuckled before hoisting him up and sped away as XLR8, all the while the twerp sized villain grunted. "I don't care what Animo says, I preferred it when he was depressed."

After putting Billions in his cell, and reading him his rights so that good for nothing lawyer Chadzmuth can't bust him out in like 4 minutes. Ben had clocked out of the base, it's been three months since going to the Multiverse club, and meeting Erza, Kara, Yang and Makoto, and he's been a lot chipper as a result. Not only has Ben been feeling better, he's actually performing better in his plumber duties, as seen earlier he's been keeping up his quick takedowns of bad guys.

In addition he's also been helping his friends and family out more with gusto, whether it be helping Gwen study for the next exam, which was her final, helping Kevin at his garage, doing deliveries for Baumann, doing some gardening for his mom, helping his dad at his job, cleaning out Max's RV, even helped Rook with some paperwork. And most of that was done twice, this week alone, all without a complaint.

And it hasn't gone unnoticed, "talk about a bounce back" Kevin said, currently he, Gwen, Rook, Max, heck even Carl, Saundra, Verdona, Lucy, Sunny, Vera, Clyde, and Ken were watching Ben teleport to the motor pool on earth to drive out. "I know, compared to how you described him three months ago, I've never seen Ben so enthusiastic" Ken, who returned back to Bellwood for a visit, said. Wanting to help his favorite cousin out of his funk hearing about the nasty breakup. "While I am concerned by his new demeanor, I can at least take solace that Ben's feeling better" Saundra comments, "me and you both honey" Carl replies, the group then follows Ben back to his apartment.

After entering his place the hero of the universe plopped down on his couch before letting out a content sigh, "today was pretty good. I'll just rest up a bit and maybe find a movie to watch... maybe message the girls" he said blushing a bit. Since meeting the girls, Ben had felt the light return back into his life, he liked, maybe even loves spending time with them, whether it's with one at a time or all of them at once. To him, all the girls were special and he saw some of him in all of them, aspects of them he can relate to on a personal level.
