a small figure walked side by side with her sisters. her hands were gently placed in front of her stomach, the soft silk wrapped around her petite figure. the sister next to her right walked in sync with them. her hair flowed down to her waist, the smooth strands straight and thin.
the brother was more steady, strong in his steps. he had the silk fabric clothes and stood left from the female in the middle. the three of them walked through the hallway, their heels clacking against the marble floors.
they refused to crack a smile like they do together to calm each other's nerves. they stood in front of the throne room doors, being called over by their father. the two siblings on the sides took a step back, having the middle at the front.
she took a deep breath and gently pushed opened the doors, letting the three of them walk in.
"father." she said sternly, standing in front of him with a straight back. the two next to her bowed or curtseyed, standing up straight too."penelope. we have an offer for you and im afraid you cannot deny."
she held back to the urge to scoff, only furrowing her eyebrows, "that may be?"
"you shall be meeting the other three kingdoms and discussing our kingdoms' future together."・⸝⸝﹒₊˚﹕﹒₊‧
"please excuse my volume but WHAT?!" lucinda yelled out, baring her teeth like a lioness.
"silence, lucinda. you have not right to yell. you cannot deny this offer, we all have made our decision." the queen held her hand up, a glare stabbed through lucinda's."mother.. you must know this is very sudden and we don't have much information about this situation that circles around us." spencer walked up, his face cold but worry swirled in his eyes.
"i agree with little bro! what if they're evil?!" alexander scoffed out, standing to the front too.
"nonsense. you three have been trained for self defence and i believe in you" her voice was soft and calming, causing the two boys to relax. a simple power the queen holds over the whole kingdom."please, listen to your mother. she is the one in power." their father finally spoke up, nodding in agreement.
the three of them glanced at each other but simply nodded, looking down at the floor.・⸝⸝﹒₊˚﹕﹒₊‧
"you three will leave tomorrow morning." the queen added on. "finally! new people to meet!" carlo exclaimed, flashing his infamous grin.
"calm down, carlo." vincent hummed, nodding in agreement though.
"whah! im so excited!" tamila joined in, lightly clapping her hands together. the mother smiled softly, not knowing what she did to be blessed with such sweet children.・⸝⸝﹒₊˚﹕﹒₊‧
his wings ruffled in excitement and anxiousness, "are you sure this will end positively, father?" lavin said, his wings folding onto his back.
"let loose! this will be a great opportunity for all of us!" alice butted in, grinning happily. lavin couldn't help but smile back.gemini nodded lightly, hovering over the ground, "it's true. new people to meet and finally not being trapped up here.." he muttered, leaning back.

the twelve royalty went back to their rooms, some nervous and others excited for this new adventure. what they didn't know and wasn't informed with was the problem that was spreading across the kingdoms like a sickness.
