𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘷𝘦

they all decided to leave the cottage today and go find the person in the forbidden forest that left the strange note in the book from the library. the whole morning was awkward and silent.

the only sound they could hear was their footsteps on the cobblestone path. it was early in the morning, as the sun hasn't rised yet, and the village was empty. the gentle breezes were the only causes of sound, nobody else spoke a word.

"hey.. how long will it take to get to the forbidden forest?.."

i take that back.

capricorn turned to the voice, making eye contact with aquarius. he gulped down his anxiousness and turned back to the front.
"about.. a few minutes. we aren't there yet but after we get through the village, we should see it." he answered.

the girl nodded and fiddled with the black ring on her pinkie finger. gemini noticed and gently took aquarius' hand into his, clasping it together. their black rings pressed against each other, the cooling metal cold on their skin.

after a painfully tense silence, they could see the leaning trees towering over them at the start of the forest. they hung gloomy and it was as if sorrowful souls were trapped in the nature's gift.

"well..-"
"you have arrived at your destination. please enjoy the rest of your life before entering" sagittarius said, rolling his eyes.
"wow, way to be enthusiastic about all of this." leo rolled her eyes, nudging sagittarius harshly, which caused him to say, "ow."

"ok.. well how about we spilt up to clear more ground?" aries offered, shrugging carelessly.
"hmm.. maybe not the best idea at the start. we can all walk in and if we aren't getting anywhere, we can spilt up." libra smiled, making aries blush from embarrassment.

"hoping that's a blush of embarrassment and not something else." leo whispered to aries, causing him to heat up more.
"shut up, lucinda!" aries yelled out, catching everyone's attention.

"is everything okay?.." libra asked, confusion in his question.
"fuck off, libra!" aries spat out harshly.
"dont listen to him, lavin." aquarius glared at aries, turning around to face the others.

"ok then.. we should probably get going then." virgo frowned a bit and turned on his heels, walking into the forest with his siblings following. slowly, everyone faded into the darkness.

everyone but pisces.

"you coming, penelope?" cancer yelled out from in the forest. pisces frowned a bit before turning back to her brother, "yeah. coming." she nodded, grabbing her brother's hand and walking into the forest.

maybe it was her intuition but she felt like someone was watching them, planning their every move into their trap. but she couldn't see anyone. she knew she couldn't shrug it off as her imagination because last time that happened.. her mother got deeply hurt.

with one last glance outside the forest, she too voluntarily stepped into the gloomy darkness.

"it's truly a shame that she didn't check twice." a voice said quietly, their cloak flying in the wind as they raced down the hills.

"godddd... we haven't gotten anywhere?!" gemini yelled into the darkness.
"shut up. you ran off yesterday." and that shut gemini up right quick, not wanting to speak about the topic at all.
"i thought we forgot about yesterday.." aquarius said quietly, frowning a bit.

"yeah. and no." cancer used his two hands as weight scales, moving them up and down.
"stop doing that. you look like an idiot." scorpio pressed cancer's hand down, making him huff.
