Author's POV:

'Mythili, hurry up! they will be here at any time!!'

An elderly man rushes inside his home sweet home yelling out his wife's name.

'Ram, Stop shouting! Everything is set! Your daughter is still-'

She came out of the kitchen with a tray full of sweets and snacks, keeping them set on the tea-table she spoke to her noisy husband.
But a voice stopped her suddenly.

'Aunty! she is not listening to me! Please you talk with her! she keeps crying'

Shalu complained about a worried face about her bestie, one hand fighting with her dupatta's edges while her other hand rested on her 5-month-old baby bump.Mythili let out a deep sigh moving forward towards her Only daughter's room.

*Car horn*

'Mythili, look groom's family is here!'

Ram straightened his clothes walking out of the door to welcome the guests.

'Shalu, do something dear! Tell her that i- no-no, her dad will kill himself if she doesn't accept this proposal! Go go!'

Mythili made a serious joke nodding and holding Shalu's hands together with hers.
The mid lady gently pushed her daughter's mate into her room.

'The house looks very beautiful from outside and inside!'

The groom's mom commented looking around the living room observing everything tiny things.

'Haha! Credit goes to my lovely wife! She loves decorating the house, my daughter does too! They both make crafty decor pieces as a hobby!'

He spoke lovingly with his hands placed on his chest.

'Aww, our wives have the same interest Mr. Ram! My wife keeps making something too haha!'

Mrs Kumar nudged her husband to shut his pretty mouth or else a spatula treatment will be gifted tonight.

'Never mind him! Bring our daughter-in-law, let us also see her in person!'

Chithra aka Mrs Kumar asked looking over Mythili.

'Mythili dear, Go get Meghna!'

Said Ram, Nodding to her husband with a sweet smile Mythili went to bring her lovely daughter to the groom's family view.

'then, our groom is being so quiet today? What's the matter, Suriya? You nervous?'

Ram interrogated.
Looking up to meet his future father in law's eyes, Suriya let out a nervous chuckle.

'Nervous? Of course, he is! You know how he rushed us to get ready and come here! I, Suriya's mother, say you he fell for your daughter! He fell for her soo deep! I can't even believe the fellow who rejected 20 plus proposals not even seeing the girl's picture and he just said an astonished yes right after seeing your daughter's picture!'

Chithra narrated the story making Suriya hang his head down in embarrassment and shyness.

'Haha! The poor boy is feeling embarrassed let's not make him feel so! Feel free, son!'
