Chapter.8 Date Night to Worst Night

I was eating breakfast well texting Red and Death so they don't blow up my phone when my ex Eric(sorry Eric's) tried calling me. It's been a few months since we broke up. I recall it like it happened just a few hours ago...We were on the couch and I got a text from my Dad and he freaked out that I'm cheating on him. I could never get him to stop so I moved out and back with my parents and ever since then he's been a pure psycho ever since then.

I happily declined his call and called Red instead so Eric couldn't call again "Hey! what's with the sudden call?" Red asks he sounds like he woke up only a few minutes ago "oh my psycho of an ex is calling no big deal, Did you just wake up you sound tired" I heard him yawn and I couldn't help but smile

 "nahhh I just....ya I just woke up to talk to you" I giggle taking my bowl into the sink and walk over to the couch taking a seat before turning on facetime seeing Reds happily tired face snuggled in his bed "awwww~ you look so comfy like a wittle baby~!" he blushes hiding his face in the pillow well laughing

"why do you look so perfect in the morning huh? It's almost unnatural sweetheart, who blessed you with this beauty??" I felt a bit a blush go to my cheeks "haha very cute. My mother blessed me with it silly skeley" he gets out of his hiding place and smiles at me "remind me to thank her" Red winks "I will, Bonehead~" I wink and end the call before screaming in a pillow(I know I'm going more into Red this chapter but he's the least Insane and I think he's cute .-. fight me >:P) I can't believe that happened!! he's so cute!!.

I heard the cute little Ding! of my phone and I take a look who texted me and why. It was Red asking me on a small little date. I instantly reply with a happy yes with a few hearts and he tells me that we'll go around 6 PM and that he'll pick me up with a wink emoji.

I get up and go take a shower. I know It's early but might as well be ready then make him wait because I'm still getting my makeup on. I turn on the water and leave the bathroom to get a towel but well I walk back I heard something in my bedroom. and I peek in my room seeing nothing so I just walk back to the bathroom and get ready for my long hot shower.

I finished my shower and went to my room to find something to wear and decided to wear something fancy yet casual(any outfit that you think looks nice that isn't a princess dress or sweat pants like something in between) I put my outfit on including some pretty looking flats I like to wear from time to time. I decided to try putting makeup on(if you don't want makeup then don't have it) and after that I didn't need much I just brushed my hair then I was pretty much done ready for my date.

I heard a knock on my door and I happily open it seeing a nervous skeleton wearing his jacket with a white dress shirt and pants without the yellow strips. he turns into a cherry right before my eyes his eyes turning into cute little red hearts

 "hello Red! I'm excited for our date!" he shakes his head his eyes going back to normal "u-uhhh me too! I'm excited too! you're gorgeous! haha ready?" I nod, Red puts out his hand and I take it happily "we can walk or take a short cut" he winks. short cut? what short cut? "I'm curious about the short cut so lets take that"

 I smile happily as we walked along the sidewalk "alright, try not to throw up" before I could ask the world around be turned all kinds of red and it was like gravity disappeared and as soon as it was back a wave of nausea hit me like a truck. 

"you ok sweetheart?" Red chuckles patting my back. I look up and see we're in a completely different place. It was grillbys! "how did we get here so fast? Grillbys is so far away from where we live! well not really but still!" Red laughs "I told ya it's a short cut" I shake my head to come back to my senses and we enter Grillbys.

Gillbys is a great place, people talking, the smell of delicious greasy food filling the air and the nice tune coming from the jukebox in the corner.

Red and I took a table near the window already enjoying the date even if it's barely started. the flame covered monster named Grillby walked up pausing me and Reds conversation "Hello, do you have your orders ready?"

I smiled and gave a simple nod "I'll have some fries" Red shrugged he seemed like he didn't want to eat. I didn't question it "I'll have F/F(favorite food)" Grillby nodded walking into the back room.

"Killer told me you've brought him home from here, that's really nice" Red starts spinning his fork around with magic for some reason it reminded you of a bored kid " yeah, he looked tired and I didn't want him to walk home alone" I heard Red chuckle but I didn't understand what was funny.

"what's so funny?? did I say something?" I raise a brow. Red looked up at me with small hearts in his eyes "oh sweetheart....He wouldn't have walked home Killer can teleport. Like how we teleported here. But that's adorable how you brought him home" Red looks back down at the fork with a smile on his face.

Teleport? they can teleport!? they never told me that! no wonder they can just be at my door so suddenly! does that mean that creepy figure I keep seeing is one of the skeletons? I shiver at the thought of one of them stalking me but I shouldn't let that ruin the night.

Me and Red had a great time we were talking so much that we didn't finish our food with in the hours we were there. we walked outside and quickly realised it was raining cats and dogs out here "ah crap I should've checked the weather or somethin'. sorry Sweetheart we'll have to take another short cut" He offers his hand and I don't take it instead I walk threw the rain "Its fine Red it's just water" Red speeds over to me and takes off his jacket putting it on me to shield me from the cold drops of water "I don't want you catching a cold out here"

I shook my head and tried giving it back but he forced it back on me "Red it's your jacket and what if you catch a cold....well if you can get sick" Red held my hand and began the walk home "don't worry Doll It's rare for a skeleton to get sick I'll be fine"

We walked back to the neighborhood and noticed the red and white lights coming from where our houses were. we ran over and saw my house now nothing but a pile of ash and ember and Eric being pulled into a police car "WHAT HAPPENED" I screamed and a few fireman explained how Eric burned my house down and was hoping you were inside.

Red started apologising like it was his fault even if he did nothing wrong and he pretty much saved my life. thankfully I didn't pick up anything that meant a lot to me from my parents place but it was really tragic! you would probably be dead if Red didn't take you out.

I walked over to the other skeletons with Red since they all came out to see what was up "Y/N!!" most of them hugged me relieved I wasn't fried up like chicken "Thank Asgore you're alright! where were you!?" Sans checked for any wounds well Dust and Blue hugged me as tight as they could "well Red took me out to dinner earlier and I'm glad he did or I'd look like you guys" a few couldn't help but chuckle.

I noticed Dream making his way over and I instantly felt uncomfortable "you know! I should really call my parents cause I'll sadly need to move back in with them for awhile. they're eyes all turned black(red in Errors case) and the smiles they had faded so quickly it scared me "d-don't leave! you can stay with us!" Sans grabbed my wrist gently but I knew I couldn't pull away "I don't know....I don't wanna be a bother and I barely know you guys!" Error turned away he seemed hurt and Nightmare looks like he's holding back something with his tentacles twitching.

"YOU CAN HAVE THE GUEST BEDROOM! NO ONE USES IT!" Blue piped in clinging onto your other arm begging you to stay "we can't force her to stay Blue" Nightmare used a tentacle to force Sans and Blue to let go but the tentacle seemed like it wanted to grab someone else.

I saw tears start to appear in their eyesockets and the guilt was setting in "I- I- UGH fine! I'll stay with you...but only until I find somewhere else to live!" the skeletons had a small celebration among themselves well I call my mom to explain whats going on and convince her I'm safe with the skeletons
