SPECIAL CHAPTER: A Secretive Valentine (The Dinner)

You had Aether drive you to the restaurant since you, yourself didn't have a vehicle. (which was probably made obvious in the last chapters)

Turns out, the twins had separate cars. Just in case one gets into an accident with their car.

The drive was nice, and you gotta say Aether's taste in music was impeccable. But you might have dozed off while driving to the place. You gotta say that there was a lot of traffic. Took both of you quite a drive to reach the restaurant.

When both of you reached the restaurant, Aether woke you up.

"Y/N, we're here"

And with a few nudges, you finally woke up.

"Ah, sorry Aether. I must have dozed off"

"No need, now come on, let's go"

Aether went out first and opened your door. Even though you told him you'll do it yourself.

Now the restaurant was pretty big. The whole aesthetic of it was a mix of a coffee shop and dark academia if that makes sense? It was a very pretty restaurant.

As soon as both of you got inside, a waiter assisted both of you to a table. But he was staring at you most of the time, it wasn't bothering you at this point, but Aether certainly was.

He glared at the waiter. But the waiter just brushed it off and asked for your orders.

You took a look at the menu and saw one of your favorite dishes. So you ordered that with one of your favorite drinks.

Aether ordered a risotto with an iced tea.

The waiter wrote it all down and left, but not without winking at you. Your face flushed red, which made Aether glare at the waiter even more. You began to notice but didn't think much of it.

When the waiter came back with the food and he placed it on the table, but not without slipping in a note.

"What does it say?" Aether asked, quite sternly.

"His number-" You begin to flush red again.

Aether was truly at his limit right then and there. He said under his breath "I'll take care of him later" You didn't hear him and asked, "What did you say?" Aether smiled and said "It was nothing" and both of you began eating.

The food was delicious. And it was served most appealingly. You and Aether talked about shows and other things here and there, but the thing you remember most is that he asked about the trip to the other branches of the company.

"Oh, apparently were going to every branch this year"

"What do you mean?" He asked

"Well, most of the time, they would only go to one branch every year, but to the recent surge of issues, the other branches had this year. We will go to all of the branches"

"Well, have they selected who would go yet?"

"No, not yet. Am guessing they'll announce that soon enough"

Aether hmmed in response and continued eating.

When both of you had finished eating the same waiter came. And asked if both of you were finished.

When both of you said yes, he went back to get the check.

Both of you talked about who was gonna pay. You were quite stubborn and kept offering to pay, but Aether came out victorious in the end.

The waiter came back with the check, and you looked at it... 400 DOLLARS FOR 2 MEALS!?! What the fuck.

Now you were pestering Aether even more about paying. You kept pestering him until both of you came up with an agreement. You both pay half of the original price.

200 dollars wasn't that big of a deal to you and him since both of you work at a very prestigious company.

And so both if you left the restaurant. But when both of you got outside, Aether asked for the note. And since you weren't gonna call the waiter back anyways, you gave it to him.

You both walk to the car and Aether opened your door for you, even though you asked him not to for the second time.

When both of you were inside, Aether asked;

"Ok, where's your home?"

"It's the second apartment near our building"

He nodded in response and began driving.

When both of you got there, you were fast asleep. And so Aether carried you to your apartment. He took a look at your keys so he knew what apartment you had.

He placed you on your bed and made sure to take off your shoes. He took a little piece of paper and write down an explanation. He left, but without taking a T-shirt.

He was now going to his car and drove to the restaurant both of you came to.

By now the restaurant was closed so Aether went looking for the waiter around the area.

Hours and hours had gone by, so Aether called him. But he didn't answer.

Now Aether was just walking by one of the buildings and smelt something. Blood.

He ran to the building. And that's when he found the waiter lifeless, his skin was torn off. And he was hanging on the wall by hydro poles.

Right next to the body, it said;

THE ZODIAC.

Aether immediately called the police. And the police came as fast as they can.

They asked Aether questions. But got nothing related to the murderer.

They began inspecting the body. But the hydro that was holding the body to the wall, was gone. And so the body fell to the ground harshly.

The police said that it looked like the killer wanted the victim to have a slow death. They wanted to torture the victim.

Aether just stood there. He wanted to do the killing but someone beat him to it.

Were they following both of you around?

Perhaps.

But all the police know for now. Is that the killer's name is The Zodiac and that they have a hydro vision.

But Aether knew who exactly did this. But said nothing and drove away.

Little did they know the killer stood on top of the roof of one of the nearest buildings near the crime scene.

They smiled and teleported away with their hydro vision.

Soo um the name, The zodiac, I took that from a movie I had watched recently.

The name is Zodiac or The Zodiac so, if you are interested in watching like murder documentary it's kinda like that.

Then I suggest you watch it! It's on Netflix. It has mature scenes in it so, you have been warned!
