It's been a few weeks since you interviewed all those people and most of the people you thought would get in got in!
The newcomers got here 4 to 7 days after the initial interview and all of them were good and hardworking co-workers but by far the ones that you got close to were the twins.
Lumine is a very short-tempered, stubborn, and outgoing person. You saw her standing up for herself, and her brother.
As for Aether, he has a very caring, sort of timid personality. He likes helping people, but it seems like he likes helping you the most. It also seems that Lumine has been sticking to you the longest out of any old co-workers here.
As of now, you were heading to the office.
You were a bit late cause of multiple reasons. One is you just being too lazy to get up. Like, get your lazy ass up. You don't want your salary to go down, do you?
Your outfit was a bit messed up seeing as you just put it on and didn't even take the time to fix it. So you just fixed it along the way.
Please don't get yelled at, please don't get yelled at
You kept repeating those words until you got to the office.
You took a sigh of relief. Thank God no one saw me. You thought as you sped and walked to your desk.
Once you got there. You saw a bunch of pink hearts. You were confused for a moment, but then you remembered....it was valentines Day!
You sit down and take a look at all the Valentine-themed items at your desk. You never imagined you would get Valentine's gifts. You've been here for a little bit over 2 years but never got a gift. You'd only get a gift when it's Christmas.
You excitedly took one of them and began reading the note attached to it.
The note was quite cheesy, but it still made your face flush red. Every note did. But all of them were signed by 'Admirer' or just a letter like 'A' it was hard to pinpoint who wrote anyone of them. Considering almost 3000 people work in this one building... Or it could be other old co-workers overseas.
You have been to other companies around the world of course. It's a custom that once a year when Sr. Diluc leaves for other branches of the company overseas, at least 18-20 people have to come with him. And surprisingly you've been picked for the last 2 years.
You've only been to the Liyue and Inazuma branches though. But they'll pick people soon since we're already halfway through the year.
'Eh, I should stop thinking about this and get some work done. Don't wanna get scolded again-'
And you start taking a file from the stack right on your desk.

He rubbed his forehead and groaned. Stress getting the better of him.
"Why do you have to attract so many people dear..."
He said while looking at a photo of you. If only you hadn't attracted so many people then you could have been with him already.
Suddenly, someone knocks on the door.
"Uh. Sir Diluc may I come in?"
"You may"
It was Barbara.
'Huh, another one..' As well as a close friend of yours that hasn't been mentioned yet cause the author is quite lazy.
You met her around one of the very first days you started to work with Teyvat Industries.
She's the little sister of Jean, as well as an assistant to her and Diluc. Rumors have spread through the office that she only had that job cause she's the little sister of Jean, but you told her otherwise. I guess that's why she loves you that much.
"What is it, Barbara?"
"Ah, it's about the overseas trip"
"What about it?"
"The board wants to pick who comes on the trip this year"
He may not seem like it but he was boiling with rage on the inside.
"Sorry, can you please repeat that" His voice was still calm but you could hear the irritation.
"The board wants to pick who comes, sir" Barbara smirked mentally.
Diluc huffed out and said "Fine, as long as they bring Y/N"
"Why is that, sir?" She asked and smiled
Diluc was in a tight position. Why the hell did he mention you? If he gets caught for his deeds he may never have you.
"So she can help the others. She has the experience, she has been on this trip for the last 2 years" Diluc said calmly. (This kinda reminds me of what Dumbledore saying calmly thing. That is kinda like this)
"Ah, alright, Have a good day Sir Diluc," She said while leaving.
She chuckled once she got outside.
"You'll never have her."

Y/N sighed. Work was finally over! She was gonna go out until someone approached her.
"Hey Y/N"
"Ah, yes Aether?"
"Would you like to go out for dinner?"
Your face flushed red, but before you had the chance to say anything Aether clarified
"-as friends" though he hated it. He hated how you guys were just friends, he wanted something more. He wanted to be closer to you.
The redness in your face died down and you said "Oh, Alright. Do you have a place in mind?"
"There's this place right across the building next to us. People say it's good"
"Oh, is it SiennaSprings?"
"So that's the one... Affirmative that is the one, I think"
You chuckle. And you guys head out of the building to enjoy a nice dinner.
