Beyoncé G. Knowles
Times Square, Manhattan, New York
Flash back: 12 years ago"Mama me and solo really wanna go ta' houston ma please" A ten year old beyoncé pleaded her mother, Tina knowles.
"Baby that's up between you and your daddy. You know he likes you being here with him as much as possible" Tina said, rubbing her daughters arm before walking off.
"What did I say would happen if I heard you all talk like that again?" Matthew asked walking into the room.
"We'd have to read the encyclopedia front to back standing up until we're done" Beyoncé answered.
"Talkin' like what tho?" A twelve year old Solange asked.
"Like that. Like you don't have any home training. You've been in the ghetto far to long. You sound improper. Fix it before i fix it for you." He said, pointing in the two girls faces.
"Yes sir" they quickly let out. They knew what would happen if they showed any sign of disrespect.
Eventually, Matthew gave in and let them visit his mother for the last time in a very long while.
"MIMI" Beyoncé screamed at the top of her lungs plunging into her Grandmothers lap.
"My butterfly, you're getting so big baby. Have you been behaving like I told you?" She asked playing in her long curls.
"Mimi I hate it so much in New York." She whined placing her head in the crook of her neck.
"I know, when you get a little older you can come and see me as much as you please" she said patting her back.
"Can we watch Veggie Tales on the vhs? Pleaseeee Mimi?" She pleaded.
"Yes, go get solo and sit in the front room for me" she ordered and Beyoncé shook her head, running off to find her sister.
"Matthew we need to have a talk." Lue called out, grasping her sons attention.
"What mother?" He groaned, slapping the book on the table.
"I was in labor with ya' tail for twelve hours, do not answer me like that. Hear?" She snapped, sitting at the seat in front of him.
"Sure, what is it that you wanted?" He asked glaring at his mother.
"Well the girls-" she started but was cut off by Matthew.
