Semishira - Last Winter Leaf - DROPPED

Chapter 6

The next morning Semi begins to pack his stuff for when he meets up with Shirabu.

Erika walks into Semi's room and looks around in con "Where are you going so early in the morning?" she asks. "I'm getting ready to meet with someone." Semi answers. "It's embarrassing that you're packing up at 8 in the morning when you're meeting up with that Shirabu kid at 4pm, 8 hours from now." Ika says crossing her arms. "Don't deny it, you like hi-" Ika is interrupted by a shriek coming from downstairs.

Semi and Ika run down and see their mother breathing heavily on the floor and their dad with a horse hat/mask on. Semi runs to help his mother while Ika goes to her dad and fist-bumps him while saying "Nice.".

After their mom calms down, she begins to scold their dad. Semi and Ika escape before they are pulled into the argument. Ika runs into Semi's room a few minutes later, "Teach me to play volleyball." she says, "Wha- What?" Semi stutters. "I'm a bit rusty Ika, and I'm a setter, do you really wanna learn volleyball from me?" Semi asks. "Yes." Ika says, "Wait why do you even want to learn volleyball?" Semi says, "Yes." Ika repeats. "Huh?" Semi whispered, "YES!" Ika yells.

Semi looks at the time, "I can try to teach you," Semi says, he has 6 more hours till' the meet-up and now his sister wants to learn volleyball. And he couldn't even avoid it. Soon they were at the nearest park, Ika's arms were in pain 10 minutes after they began. "I'M GONNA DIE, I'M GOING TO DIE!" Ika yells, Semi turns to her and crosses his arms while raising one eyebrow.

Ika pouts and stands up to begin again. 2 hours later Ika roughly had the basics. She could receive, barely set, and could angrily spike. Semi looked at the time and decided to head home for brunch. Semi and Erika arrive home to find a note lying on the kitchen counter, "Sorry kids, me and your dad had to quickly visit someone to get stuff, probably will be back by 3, lots of love, Mum".

"Fuck, does that mean that I have to deal with YOUR cooking?" Ika complains, groaning. "HEY! No cursing." Semi says. "What? It's not like you don't curse." Ika replies, "Well, mom and dad won't be happy when they find out their innocent daughter is cursing." Semi comments, crossing his arms. "Will you actually tell them though?" Ika grins.

Semi glares at her before heading to the kitchen. He picks something basic to make and later they begin eating.

"Ew, Eita I'm not a racoon!" Ika says taking a bite out of her food. Semi looks confused, "I don't eat trash." she gags. "You're not a racoon, you're a baby," Semi says getting a spoon, scooping up some rice and airplaning it to her mouth, he holds the spoon in front of her mouth for a few seconds while laughing before she actually takes the food. "Yeah, I'm going to need help with everything, I mean, I'm just a baby right?" Ika says, smirking. Semi scoffed before smacking her on the forehead.

A few minutes later they finish and start their chores, time passes by and soon it is 2:50pm. "Hey, I'm going to head out now!" Semi yells up the stairs, "OK!" Ika screams. "WILL YOU BE OK BY YOURSELF?" Semi shouted up the stairs, "I'M 16, I'LL BE FINE, HAVE FUN WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND!!" Ika yells, "We're not-" Semi sighs and gets his stuff.

He travels by bus to where they were meeting up, a large park, and when he arrives he waits for Shirabu by a small tree.

"SEMI-SAN!!" Semi hears, he looks up and sees Shirabu running towards him. "Hello," Semi says "Hi-" Shirabu replies, panting. "Ok, so what did you wanna talk about?" Shirabu asks, "Let's take a walk first." Semi requests. "Ok," Semi began, "I wanna talk about us, and what happened a year ago." Semi says, "Look, I'm sorry that I hadn't told you, I also should've at least tried long distance-" murmured Shirabu, "No, you shouldn't feel sorry, this has nothing to do with that." Semi comforts Shirabu, "Ever since you came back, my feelings have," Semi pauses "changed, I thought I had no more feeling for you but, here I am, doing the same thing I did 3 years ago, confessing to YOU." Semi stutters.

They both stop in their tracks, Shirabu looks up and turns to Semi. "I thought I was the only one," Shirabu whispers, "Wha- What? I didn't hear you, sorry." Semi says, "I thought I was the only one." Shirabu declares. "Uh-" Semi's eyes widen, then change to confusion to understanding and then back to confusion. "I'm saying I like you too, dumbfuck." Shirabu says. Semi begins to understand and he smiles.

"Sit here, I'll be RIGHT back." Semi quickly says, and pushes Shirabu to the nearest bench and runs away to get...something. 'What did I do wrong?' Shirabu thought. 'What have you done'. A few minutes pass and Shirabu is now terrified. Next thing he knows he sees Semi running towards him with a...red rose in his hand.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" Semi smirks, handing him the rose. "No," Shiraby says, Semi frowns and raises his eyebrows. "Will YOU be my boyfriend?" Shirabu says, giving the rose back to Semi. "Yes!" Semi chuckles.

Sadly they had to go their separate ways home. But they were planning on meeting up after New Years Eve.

Semi arrives home safely and strides happily to his bed. "What are you so happy about?" Ika asks, stepping in through the doorway. "I just had the best day of my life..." Semi says, completely undisturbed from his bliss. Ika walks up to him and slaps him. "OW!" Semi screeches, Ika hisses while touching her ear. "It's that Shirabu kid isn't it?" Ika giggles.

"What are you doing poking your nose around?" Semi says, "Nothing really, It's just the fact that my older brother has a crush and is acting like more of a child then I am." Ika mumbled. Semi scoffs and turns to the wall, "Close the door on your way out."Ika stands there figuring out why her brother was so annoyed, she decides to respect her brother's wishes and heads out.
