A month after Valentines, Inazuma has this custom to reciprocate all the gifts they received during Valentines. It was a good thing that 2 days before the said event are weekends, which means there's time for the male students in the university to come up with the gifts they'd buy. The usual group- mainly, Zhongli, Itto, Childe, Kunikuzushi and Xiao decided to meet in the town square to buy the gifts all together.
Both Zhongli and Xiao were quite early to arrive so they decided to stop by in a nearby cafe to have some snacks.
"Oh- Aether and Lumine, I'm surprised to see you both here." Zhongli says with an evident tone of surprise in his voice as soon as he reaches the register. The twins were also shocked to see the two, but nevertheless plastered a smile on their faces as they both welcomed their friends. "Part-time job?"
"Quite, we're just helping out Jean and Barbara. One of the siblings is busy babysitting so they had to ask us for some manpower. It's kinda fun to be honest." Lumine perks up while pouring the frothed milk into a small cup of coffee, eventually creating a so-called Latte Art with it. "Ganyu! Your Latte is ready!"
"Ah.. T-thank you..!" The sleepy college student stumbled over towards the pick-up counter. She takes the tray at either side right after pushing the bridge of her reading glasses up to prevent it from slipping any further. However, right before she could return to her seat, Lumine placed a small plate of a cloud-esque doughnut on the tray. "Oh! Thank you!"
"It's in the house." Lumine throws her a friendly wink before walking over towards the espresso machine to tamper some more espresso shots for their remaining orders.
Meanwhile, Aether decided to take over the register to take the customers' orders all the while he's decorating some pastries and cakes. He grins at Zhongli and Xiao, noticing the game that the latter was playing and realizing that it was one of the newer releases.
"Oh! You're also playing Breath of Wind, too? I haven't bought the game yet, is it any good?" The gamer leans forward, excitement was evident on both his tone and gaze. "I'm actually planning to buy it during my break."
