No matter how hard you try to twist the door knob, it always gives that familiar sound of a locked knob. You try shouting for help at the other side of the room since there were a lot of students in the hallway just moments ago and maybe.. one of them would heed your salvation.
However..
"Why is no one answering?!" You place your ear against the door to listen for some of their voices, but alas, all you heard was the deafening silence of the empty hallways. "Itto! Aren't you doing something?"
"There's no point in doing something, do you even remember what day it is?" He pulled out his phone and went to the calendar, emphasizing the current date of today. "The Black Label is announcing their new film, starring yours truly~ in the television. Of course everyone wants to know about the film! It's the Black Label we're talking about here!"
Well, he's right that everyone is closely looking out for announcements regarding the activities within the company. So far, the current activity they have going on was the film where Itto will debut.
However, most film / drama announcements from The Black Label are usually televised and have this press conference feel to it. The actors- most specially the protagonists, should be present in the event. But, the main protagonist of the upcoming film is currently right in front of you, locked within the newspaper club room with no one seeming to notice. More importantly, it seemed like he just got out of a recent fight that would explain the bandages on his limbs and face.
You take a seat on the farthest chair from Itto. The atmosphere around the clubroom is already awkward, considering the past interactions between you and Itto. To avoid making it more awkward, you decided to stay away from him for a change.
Instead, you pull out your phone and desperately try to send a message to the group chat to alert your other friends of your current situation. But..
"Shit, I don't have any signal in here.."
You mutter to yourself while spamming the groupchat with relentless messages. Even with your mobile data, your efforts seem to be in vain since the circular symbol on the lower right corner of your message does not have the usual check symbol in it. That's the indication that your message got sent.
