Morning
Goblin Slayer had gotten there before everyone surprisingly. A stack of papers on the table with a lesser stamina potion in his hand.
'2 wizards, 2 scouts, a light Warrior, a Druid, Priestess, High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman and Lizard Priest.' Goblin Slayer thought 'And I don't know all of Drow Bard's latest tricks.'
A piece of parchment was on his side. A entire sheet of notes was sitting next to his breakfast.
"How's your food?"
"Edible." Goblin Slayer said his usual response to Padfoot Waitress food.
She just did the usual angry huff and marched away.
Guild Girl had walked in yawning. "Morning."
"Morning." Goblin Slayer said.
A box on the counter had drawn her attention.
"Got you something to help with the rushes. King helped with the metal."
"What is this?" Guild Girl said.
"Here." Goblin Slayer stood up. "The same card stock in playing cards but each one has a number."
Guild Girl watched as he put the cards in the machine and pulled one out. "The second one over here you put that number in."
Putting the numbered card into the box with a slot on it.
"Each card is numbered and you can call up the number that is next." Goblin Slayer said.
Guild Girl had actually started crying. Jumping into him. "Thank you! Thank you Thank you thank you."
Goblin Slayer was stock still as she was actually kissing his helmet.
Guild
As Goblin Slayer went over the guild sheets of each of the party the swarm of Adventurers rushed in.
"Any dragon quests?" "Give me a dragon!"
Guild Girl smiled and pointed to a sign. "Take a number."
"Please take a card." Guild Girl said pointing to a table away from the counter.
Amazon Warrior was the closes to the new device. She pulled a card out.
"Now serving number 3." Guild Girl said "Number 3 please come to the desk."
Amazon handed the card over, picked out a bugbear den quest and Guild Girl handed her the papers and she was off.
"All Guild Personnel are now required to take a number and wait for their turn due to understaffing." Guild Girl had the most happy look on her face telling them that the next part even better. "There is a yellow line on the ground. No one is allowed past that unless they are purchasing items or registering quests."
