Hannahs POV
I woke up this morning, with a huge smile on my face. I eagerly hopped out of bed, and made my way to my dresser to find something to throw on. A Paramore shirt was the first thing that caught my eye. I laid it out on my bed ready to wear, along with my ripped black skinnies I had worn, just yesterday . I stared at myself in the mirror for a while. My beaming silver braces coming from the crooked smile I wore blinded me from the sunlight shining in the mirror. I have been waiting for this day all year. I checked the time on my alarm clock, and rubbed my eyes tiredly.
"Tis' the day!" I beamed, with a smile, that hurt my cheeks.
The stereo on my old entertainment center was blasting Of Mice & Men and Blessthefall. I rushed to my ridiculously small bathroom and splashed water on my face, as I sang along to 'Ohioisonfire'. Again, I stared at myself in the mirror thinking, of what it was bothering me. Oh yeah, my face. My makeup was scattered on the top of my dresser, waiting to be used. I glanced down at the clock again, and figured I had enough time to shower. I was so excited, I forgot how to get ready this morning.
As the water beat the floor of the bath, I stripped down, and jumped in a little too eager. The hot water steamed off of my pale skin, and the soap was running down my body as i rinsed myself off. I started to sing as I heard my favorite We Came As Romans song come onto my stereo. Ugh, I love them so much. Andy Glassjaw especially. I've had a hopeless crush on him fro like... ever. I shook the day dream off, and put the last of my conditioner on my head.
As I finished rinsing my blonde hair, I hummed the melody to To Plant A Seed and stepped out of the shower, into the foggy bathroom. The mirror was blurry by the steam that had invaded it. I wiped away the fog on the mirror, to see my face. My hair was dripping wet, and the smudged mascara I had worn the day before , surrounded my blue eyes. I made Awkward faces at myself and danced while I brushed my teeth and dried my hair. I figured I should wear something comfortable for the long trip I was about to take. I slipped on some sweats and the Paramore shirt I had laid out. Open Letter by The Amity Affliction started to play, and I danced around my apartment singing to my brush as if I were Ahren Himself.
I screamed at the top of my lungs, the lyrics of If They're Not Counted, Count Me Out as Joels beautiful voice invaded my stereo. I straightened my frizzy hair half ass and tied it back into a messy bun. I checked the time yet again and made sure everything was in place. "Suitcases, check. Wallet, check. Tickets ... oh shit! " I ran to my Computer and clicked rapidly on my email which took forever to come up. Stupid piece of shit computer. I printed the concert tickets that read " Tracing Back Roots tour, Seattle Washington V.I.P." I grabbed the piece of paper, shoved it into my wallet , and made sure my flight tickets were there too. I called my best friend and told him I was ready.
Mike had been my best friend for the longest time, and we even went out, but after we started dating, we lost our "feelings" for each other. We liked our relationship, better as friends, so we decided to keep it that way.
"Okay I'm just around the block." he answered. I slipped on my converse and dragged my suitcases out the door, where he met me at the end of the stairway. He greeted me with a smile .
"Yo Wuddup white girl!" He shouted at me.
He was so attractive. The way his blonde hair, flowed perfectly above his blue eyes, His pastel pink lips with a single piercing on the left side.
Towering over me, he gave me a huge hug and smiled.
He grabbed my suitcases, and tossed them into the bed of his truck. He opened the passenger door for me, but right when I was getting in, I realized I didn't have my phone.
