Andys POV
"Dude, you ready for the show tonight?" Kyle asked me.
I shook off my day dream and looked at him.
"Uh, yeah bro I cant wait!" I said rubbingmy tired eyes.
He smiled and grabbed a monster from out of the fridge and threw it at me, "You're gonna need one of these man, you look tired as hell."
I smiled back at him,"Thanks."
He made his way out of the bus and I was left alone at the dining area.
"Just another show I guess.." I mumbled.
I got up from where I was sitting and headed to my bunk. I pulled my phone out and saw there was a message, but like always I ignored it and threw it on the small bed.
Lately, shit has been a bummer. Ever since my mom was put in the hospital, I've had trouble sleeping and I've been slackin it. I need to get my shit together, but that constant worry always haunts me.
I heard footsteps coming into the bus followed by Eric's voice.
"Yo' Glass! Let's go! We're on in fifteen!"
"Yeah, I'm coming!" I yelled back, grabbing my monster and heading out in front of the bus.
I made my way to the venue speed walking. I almost tripped on the way, but I caught my balance. Fuck man, I was tired. I chugged down my monster hoping it would be some kind of eye opener.
"H-hey Andy." I heard a small voice come from behind me..
"Oh. Hey Suz. What's up?"
Suzanne was the merch girl, but she was always so shy.
"I just wanna wish you luck tonight." she said with a crooked smile.
"Oh, Uh. Thanks." I replied.
She was about to say something else, but before she could, I heard Silverstein announce the end of their set and ran to my Bass. I put the strap over my head and jogged to where the rest of the guys were.
"Let's fucking do this!"
"Fuck Yeah!"
"Damn, thats a big ass crowd."
Dave, Eric, Kyle, Josh and Lou were all excited about tonight. I mean, I was too, but in the back of my mind I wanted to crash right where I stood.
We all cheered on Silverstein as they all came off stage.
Waiting for the stage to be ours, I saw little Suzy walking to us.
"Andy, there' something I need to tell you.."
Just then, the guys started running out on stage.
"Later, okay?" I told her and ran out on stage joining them.
In the middle of our set, I started to get into it. I felt less tired and more excited. I loved being on stage, it really knows how to take a load off.
As we were about to finish our last song, I looked down into the crowd and I swear for a split second, My heart stopped.
She was astonnishingly beautiful. Her blue eyes shined bright and her cute cheeks complimented her gorgeous smile.
I was sad at the realization I may never see her again. I smiled at her and started heading off stage.
Damn.
I don't know if I'll ever see such a beautiful face again.
