I'm still 14 years old but my birthday is in a week I'm inviting all of my friends, Mike, El, Max, Lucas and Dustin i would bring my brother Johnathan but he is still in college. Yes I'm still into D&D and art. here's what has been happening I've been away because I moved. I'm on my way back to Hawkins for like a month or so for my birthday. I still have nightmares about the upside down, but they been getting better. My mom is finally dating again, she is dating hopper! so that kind of makes El my sister.. yeah kind of getting used to that but still.. Anyways max and Lucas broke up, sad I know. Mike and El have been fighting a lot recently, but good news is that Dustin and Suzie and still together, My brother and Nancy are still together also! Ok so I do have a crush.. but I don't think he is into guys though. I have not told anyone that I'm gay yet because I don't know how to start the conversation like at all. should I just go up to them and just say I'm gay or, I don't know. I think that my mom and Johnathan know though. I've always sort of known I was gay since I was like 7 I've never really liked liked a girl before, I've always thought boys where hot and I've had crushes on some before. my friends don't even know that I'm gay.. they are probably gonna be the first people I'm gonna tell, But I don't know how they will react.. what is they don't want to be my friend anymore.

in the car
I'm in the car right now staring out the window and I stop to look at my watch.. its 2:16 El is just sleeping the back.
"mom are we almost there? my friends are getting out of school in about an hour." I say bored
"not really maybe in a hour to an hour and a half we will be there" says Joyce
"ugg ok, I really miss mike" I say
"what about your other friends?" says my mom while jokingly smiling
"OH YEAH THEM TOO NOT JUST MIKE" I say flustered. my mom just laughs at me
"I know" my mom says. we just sit in silence for a while and I say
"mom can we move back to Hawkins..?"
"what u don't like California?" my mom says confused
"oh no I do like it but I miss my friends.." I say
"yeah me too" El says in a sleepily way
"oh your awake" I say to El
"mhm" El says tiredly
"well I've been thinking about moving back but I don't know." Joyce says
"ok!" I say kind of happily as we pass the 'welcome to Hawkins' sign
"yay where finally here" I say
"yay" says El. she is not fully awake yet. I cant wait to see mike... AND MY OTHER FRIENDS yeah.. Hey its only 2:45 we got here a little early, so the others wont be back from school till another half an hour. I'm staying at mikes house while we are here I'm going to sleep in the basement. School is gonna be out for a bit like a week or so for spring break. I've been trying to convince my mom to stay here till school is over but she hasn't gave me an answer yet.
half an hour later
at mikes house
"they should be here by now" I say impatiently I really miss my best friends I really want to see them I keep looking out the window every 2 minutes
"THERE HERE" El yelled when she saw 3 boys riding there bike to the house and a girl on a skate board. they basically all run inside and gave me a hug
"ahh I can't breath" I say while laughing
"I missed you!!!" mike said
"I missed you too" I said after they all where done hugging me and they all started hugging El. El just started to laugh because she missed her friends too, But I could see El's eyes just on max... I just decided to let it go. I was so happy to see all of my friends. After a while we went down stairs to go find something to do.
"what are we going to do" Max says
"I'm not sure" I say
"hmm we could bike around town to see what there is to do" Mike suggest
"I didn't bring my bike there was not enough room." I say kind of sadly
"I have a spare" mike says
"sweet thanks" I say
"what about El" Max says
"I've been learning to skateboard.. do you have an extra I could use" El says
"oh yeah sure you can use my old one, it still works" Max says
"thanks" El says
"so riding around town?" Lucas says
"yup" El says. Dustin walks out of the bathroom
"huh where are we going" Dustin says really confused
"we are going to ride around town to see what we should do" I say
"ah I see ok" Dustin says. we ride around town there was a few new things we didn't go in because they looked boring so we agreed on the arcade.
"I bet I can beat you at a game Max" Mike says
"mhm lets bet on it loser has to pay for our meal" Max says
"deal" Mike says. Me, Lucas and Dustin all started watching them two pick out a game. They finally picked one and started playing.
"come on mike you can do it" I said cheering on mike.
"come on come on.." mike says. Max was just sitting over there looking like it was really easy and mike was struggling.
"come on mike you can do it!" I say again
"come on Max" Dustin says.
"dang" says Mike. Mike lost so Max picks where to eat and Mike has to pay for everyone.
"maybe next time, you did good though" I say to mike. Mike Just smiles at me
"hmm where to eat, where to eat." says Max.
"ok ill be nice I saw a pizza place across the street pizza is usually pretty cheep" says Max
"ohh pizza I love pizza" I say happily while my stomach starts to growl.
"ok lets go" Lucas says
