Chapter 6

march 22 1986 

Dustin POV 

I see mike walk off with will to go to his room. 

"good night everyone" Max says while getting on the couch, El is already sleeping 

"night" me and lucas say at the same time. after a couple of minutes el and max are sleeping

"hey, lucas you awake?" I whisper to him 

"yeah" lucas says whispering back 

"did you see the way mike was holding will. Mike defiantly likes will" I say to him staring at the ceiling 

"he probably doesn't, didn't you hear him, he likes girls." Lucas says 

"yeah.. but he could have been lying" I say he didn't say anything so I said

"ok well wouldn't they be a cute couple???"

"oh my gosh, just drop it" Lucas says 

"aww you such a party pooper." I say 

"sure I am" Lucas says I can tell he just rolled his eyes

"imma figure out if he likes will, it would be the cutest thing." I say and Lucas just ignores me 

"I'm so glad we don't have school tomorrow" I say to Lucas to see if he is listening 

"yeah me too" he says 

"aha you are listing!" I say then i hear him fake snore I chuckle a bit and then I just try to fall asleep  

march 23 1986

6:30 am 

Mikes POV: 

as I open my eyes I look over and see that Will's arms are wrapped around me. shit. I need to get up for school. I'm really tired so I just decide to close my eyes for a bit longer. I open my eye again which seemed like only seconds I open my eyes I look over at the clock. what, shit its 8:30 school starts in 15 minutes. I quickly jump out of bed forgetting Will was still asleep. he opens his eye a bit and just yawns and sits up 

"what time is it?" he asks rubbing his eyes 

"uh 8:30- 8:32" I say pulling my pants up quickly, causing me to almost fall over . will just sits there laughing 

"what's so funny??" I ask pulling my shirt over my head 

"you know we don't have school today" Will says while laying back down in bed 

"-its still spring break, you go back to school Wednesday" Will continues while grabbing his blanket  and he pulls it over his head 

"oh yeah.." I say, and just there stand like a total dumbass for a bit then I bend down to grabbed my pajamas. 

"imma change back into my pajamas then" I say taking my jeans and shirt off to put on my sweat pants and a baggy shirt. after I was done i walked over to the bed to try to sleep more. Will would not share the blanket. 

"pls I'm cold" is say trying to pull some blanket from him. 

"hmm no" Will says laughing a bit 

"but ill freeeeezee" I say over exaggerating 

"fineee" he says handing me some blanket 

"thank you" I give him a smile he smiles back after a couple of minutes I fall back asleep. I suddenly  wake up a bit because feel someone snuggle up against me

 I hear him whisper half asleep "mm you so warm" I decided  not to say I am awake because he seems comfy. after a couple of minutes I again hear his small snores again. while his face was snuggled into my neck. is it possible that will likes me.. no he probably was just cold.. yeah, maybe, yeah of course. as I was thinking I start to drift asleep. 

wills POV

I wake up and realize I'm still snuggling Mike. I quickly pull away and get out of bed and walk to the kitchen 

"hey mom can u make waffles for breakfast?" i ask and she turns around

"yeah of course honey, go wake everyone its already 10 am" My mom says 

"ok" I say while turning around and walking to the living room where I'm guessing everyone slept

"hey guys wake up its morning" i say going around to shake everyone awake. 

"mmm" el says and just falls back asleep again

"my mom is making waffles for breakfast" i say to everyone, then el gets up immediately, everyone just laughs  

"what is so funny" el says rubbing her eyes and yawning

"oh nothing" max says patting her on the head, I walk out to wake up mike. I walk into my room well the guest room, and he is still laying there sleeping. he is so cute when he's sleeping. more like just in general. ah no i have to get over him. I walk over there then just lay next to him taking in his heat. after a couple of minutes I hear my mom saying food is ready, I quickly got up because mike moved a little I shake him a bit and he wakes up. 

"hey good morning" I say while giving him a small smile

"uhm good morning" he says kind of squinting from the light 

"my mom made waffles if u want some" I say and a big smile appears on his face 

"I'm starving and I love waffles"  mike says 

"then come on!" i say giving him a smile as he gets up he almost falls over i laugh 

"are you ok?" I say 
"yeah I'm fine" mike says while stretching I just admire him for a bit then catch myself and I quickly looked away

"well are we going or not?" mike says and gives me a teasing smirk

"oh- yeah sorry I must have zoned out" I say looking at the ground and walk towards him

"I'm just joking" he says and reaches his hand up and ruffles my hair but then catches it and quickly removes his hand

"sorry, I don't know why I did that" he says looking at the wall next to us. I really didn't mind that he did that I thought it was kind of cute in away OMG, stop you need to get over mike he obviously doesn't like you that way I shake my head getting rid of the thoughts and look up and gave mike a small smile

"its ok, I don't mind" I say while he looks back at me and a small smile appears on his lips, and looks at me in my eyes. I quickly look away and feel my face heating up and I hope he doesn't notice. after a bit of no one saying anything I look back up at him and I see hurt and disappointment flash through his eyes before he spun around and said

"we should go eat there gonna all be finish by the time we get there" I just silently follow him.

We got to the kitchen and the smell of pancakes fill my nose and everyone is just chatting I sat down next to lucas and started to think about what just happened why did he look hurt, did I do something to upset him, I hope mike isn't mad at- I snap out of my thoughts while someone waves a hand Infront of my face

"hello earth to Will?" dustin says

"hm?" I say turning to him

"you alright?" dustin asks

"yeah just tired" I said while trying to give him the best convincing fake smile I could make.. I don't think he believed me but he decided to shrug it off. I grab a big pancake and start eating it while karen brought in bacon.

"nice to see my mom and you cooking together" I say smiling at her

"its nice having extra hand to help me around here, you guys are messy" she give a teasing smile and walks away. I can't help but smile at her. I stuffed my mouth full of pancakes and bacon, once everyone is done eating we walk into the living room.

Hi guys, it me again, sorry for this cringy book but I'm having fun writing it so we are going to continue. sorry about the very very veryyy long wait for this update. tbh I completely forgot about this because I got busy and over time I just forgot. I will try posting more! hope you have enjoyed this chapter! (if anything seems different from previous chapter dw I'm just going to try and fix some things)
