chapter 3

max POV

me and El are at a sleepover I happy I get to hang out with her. Me and Lucas broke up about a month ago now, I've moved on and now like someone else, but the different part about it is that it is a girl. I'm pretty sure the girl I like doesn't even know that girls can like girls.

March 20 1986

Thursday 3:20 pm

Me and El are now skate boarding to my house right now to have a sleep over. we finally got to my house around 3:25, the boys should be at there house right now because our houses is the same distance from the school.

"Hey El what do u want to do" I say

"hmm we could spy on the boys?" El says

"ohh great idea, lets get some snacks first" I say while walking to the kitchen, I get in there and grab some chips and dip and walk back and see el sitting on the ground with a cloth to cover her eyes and the radio.

"ok ready?" I say

"yes" El says while putting on the cloth to cover her eyes

El POV

I put the cloth around my eyes and picture all of the boys in my mind, my power has been getting stronger so now I can see multiple people at the same time.

"what do u see" says Max

"t-there playing going to play.. truth or dare?" I say. I don't know what 'truth or dare' is but it looks fun! maybe me and max could play?

"Oh truth or dare that's a fun game, what are they saying?" Max said

"Mike is asking Will truth or dare... Will said Truth?" I say

"ohh ok tell me what mike says" Max says.

"Mike asked Will what his deepest darkest is..?" I say confused why mike just out of the blue asked that to will.

"ohh this should be good" Max says

"what do you mean?" I say. I'm still really confused.

"just ill tell you in a bit just listen" says max

"uh- ok" I said

"he said he's... gay..?" I say

"what does ga-" I get cut off by max

"WHAT" max said

"what does gay mean..?" I say

"shhhhhh just keep listening what else are they saying?" Max says

"they are saying everyone supports him... and will is now crying?" I say

"and that mikes dad cant know because he will beat mike..? what??" I say still really confused at what is happening

"now he is saying that he hasn't told anyone but his mom and brother know?" I say

"now they are saying-" I say

"saying what??" max said

"say-saying that they don't want us to know" I say

"what why not" Max said

"will looks scared..?" I say taking off the blind fold

"what does gay mean?" I ask

"know how girls like guys?" max says

"yea..?" I say

"well its like that but when a guy likes a guy not a girl" max says

"oh..." I say
