A Special Encounter at the Train Convention

Finally the time was here, you were going to the Pokemon Musical in Nimbasa City. You were looking forward to this and had a ticket. The idea of seeing Wailord in top hats and ballet skirts brought you immense joy.

You were walking up to the reception to hand over your ticket. The employee however looked at you in confusion and said to you, "Did you not know about the news?'

"What news?" you asked with a puzzled expression.

"Well, the news that the musical was cancelled. The Wailord got food poisoning and they can't perform today. Unfortunately the musical has been postponed, I'm sorry"

You were very distraught upon hearing this news. You had been looking forward to it so much and had already booked a hotel reservation months in advance. This was going to be YOUR weekend in Nimbasa City... And perhaps you could even find love. But alas.

The woman at the reception saw your disappointment, and had an idea. "But hey, at least there is a silver lining. I heard that a train convention will be held at this very convention center during this weekend. Perhaps that ought to bring you some joy. Hmm?"

"A train convention?" You repeated to yourself. Truth to be told you never even considered attending an event like that. However, the way things were now, you saw no other option but to make the most of your time in Nimbasa City. Alright, train convention it is then.

You thanked the receptionist and purchased a ticket for the train convention instead.

As soon as you enter the convention hall, the space was already bustling with lots of train enthusiasts.

You were surrounded by train models, conductor hats and the sound of whistles echoed through the hall. The floor was painted as if it was a railroad track. Nice detail, you thought.

Suddenly you heard some people talking. "Have you heard? Ingo and Emmet are also going to be here today!"

You looked behind you and saw some train enthusiasts talking to each other. "Ingo and Emmet?!" people seemed to be very excited upon hearing this news.

You had vaguely heard about them before, maybe you saw them on a Nimbasa news report one time. Or you read about them in your favorite magazines, The Ribbon and The Metro.

Anyhow, you heard the people gushing about how cool and handsome they were. And they were very knowledgeable about trains to boot. Truth to be told, it did catch your interest a little bit.

But honestly you didn't expect them to be THAT handsome. And you could not image yourself finding love at the train convention of all things. But maybe there was a small chance.

After a while of walking around the convention hall, you decided to get some fresh air. Outside was the Ferris Wheel, which was also decorated to match the aesthetics of a train. Traincore, if you may.

The Ferris Wheel seemed like a good and fun option to see more of Nimbasa City. The ideal opportunity for sightseeing!

You went over to the queue and stepped in line. In front of you however were two tall man in matching striped coats. They caught your interest a bit.

"Excuse me?" you asked, "is this the line for the Ferris Wheel?"

The two men looked behind them. One of them had a frown on his face and the other one was smiling. Both of them appeared to be very charming.

"Good day ma'am, this queue is indeed for the Ferris Wheel!" said the one in the black coat.

The other man, who looked remarkably similar to him, "I am Emmet. And I am verrrry excited about riding the Ferris Wheel".
