eight.

SUNDAY was an off day for Mikasa. She never had any plans nor any work to do, making the whole twenty-four hours free and a time to relax for her. 

Of course at times they're were exceptions, like when she needed to work on group assignments or her friends asked to hang out. 

Or when Sasha shows up randomly and ends inviting all the females in their friend group before she could even have breakfast. 

"Sasha I love you but you got to stop showing so early and uninvited" the ravenette stated, looking at her brunette friend who was making herself some coffee. 

"I'll think about it- anyways Annie, Histoira and Ymir should be here soon" she replied while grabbing something from the pantry. 

Mikasa shook her head and took a sip of juice " you're lucky Levi isn't here" 

" Oh yeah where is he anyways? Doesn't he usually stay here unless if Hanji miraculously gets him to go out" 

" I don't know last thing I heard was he was taking her out for a date and he didn't show last night so assuming the midget finally got some action last night" 

Sasha laughed, almost choking on her food. Just than the doorbell rang, indicating that others had arrived.

"I'll get it, you drink some water" Mikasa said and got up and made her way to the front door. When she opened the door it was just like she guessed, it was Annie, Ymir, and Historia. 

"Lemme guess Sasha?"

Historia laughed and nodded "you got it but I had nothing planed today either way" 

" Same here anyways come in" she moved over to the side and let the other three girls inside before closing the door. 

"I'm hungry, Mikasa where the kitchen?" Ymir asked "the same place it's been the last few times you've been here".

" MIKASA YOU'RE OUT OF SNACKS" a voice yelled, making Mikasa slightly laugh.

" We should probably go check on her before she ends up doing something stupid, again" Annie said, the others nodding in agreement.

Once the group made their to the kitchen, they were greeted with sight of Sasha standing on top of the counter looking in the cabinets. 

"Sasha what the fuck are you doing" Ymir and Annie said at the same time. 

" Looking for snacks"

" It's not even noon yet" Historia said, trying her best not to laugh. 

"Well I'm hungry and wanted those snacks Mikasa always has but she doesn't have them" the brunette complained. 

" Sasha we can go out later and get them, now get down from you're gonna fall". 

Sasha let out a small 'aw' and closed the cabinets and got down from the counter. 

"So Mikasa" Historia started, giving the girl a teasing look "how was you're date with Eren yesterday"

Mikasa looked at "how did you-" 

"Armin told us" 

Of course he did.

" It wasn't a date, but it was fun I guess" she answered " though him being himself didn't let me pay for lunch". 

" He was being a gentleman" Sasha said taking a seat on the dinning table chair. 

"Yeah but still-" 

"Hold up-" Annie started and looked at Ymir and Historia "who usually pays between you two" 

"I usually do but Historia wanted to take turns but as much as I disagree she can be scary when she's mad"

" YMIR!"

" Sorry babe it's the truth" 

Mikasa and Sasha laughed and Annie smiled. It wasn't that they didn't like hanging out with their whole friend group, but at times it was nice to just have sometime to hang out as females, as cliché as it sounds.

" Anyways Mikasa you're birthday's coming up" Historia said, changing the topic, " Oh yeah you're gonna turn 18" Sasha explained. Mikasa smiled and took a seat next to the brunette "it really isn't a big deal" " are you crazy it is, one you're gonna be legal and two the soulmate mark".

For a second Mikasa almost forgot that once she turned eighteen she would get the soulmate mark. From their group Historia was the first one to get it. Her mark was few red lines in almost a vein design and coincidently it ended up being the same mark Ymir got when she was five, meaning it was very likely that she was her soulmate.

"Well we still have a few weeks till you're birthday there's still time to start planning" Historia explained.

"I don't think that's nes-" 

"Yes it is now Annie can ask Armin to find a place to host it and help him with that, Sasha and Connie will be in charge of food, me and Marco can take care of decorations oh and Ymir and Jean can take care of the guest list" 

Mikasa watch the girl go on about planning and smiled. Even thought she didn't want a big party, she had to admit, she was looking forward to it. 

More so she was looking forward what mark she would get and who her soulmate will be.
