"I'll be right back baby." Matt says leaning down and giving me a kiss.

"Okay." I said kissing him back.

When he leaves the room I hear my phone ding. I look to see a text from my guy best friend, Trent asking if I could hang out. I told him I couldn't since I'm hanging with Matt today and he didn't seem too happy about it but I could be reading it wrong.

Matt comes back in room and flops down beside me. He raises my arm placing it around his shoulders as he lays his head down on my chest and wrapping his other arm around my waist.

I smile down at him before kissing his head. I start to play with his hair and I soon hear light snores. I smile before deciding to take a nap as well.

I'm awoken to a banging on Matt's bedroom door. I feel his body shift as he is being woken up too.

"Probably just one of the guys." Matt says rubbing his eyes and getting up.

He walks over to the door, opening it to reveal Trent.

"Trent? What are you doing here?" I asked in a soft tone, getting up.

"Well I really wanted to hang out today so is it cool if I join you two?" He asked with his hands in his pockets.

"Uh Matt, is it okay if he hangs out?" I asked.

"Since when do you need his permission to hangout with someone?" Trent says with a hateful tone and a little side smirk.

Matt and I look at each other with the same look. I soon shrug my shoulders not knowing what his deal is. Matt lets his little comment slide as we grab a seat.

Trent sits on the bed and Matt sits in his gaming chair as I sit on his lap. I see Trent rolls his eyes in annoyance but I yet again, I shake it off, just thinking he's in a bad mood.

"So Y/n any plans for this upcoming weekend?" Trent asked me.

"I'm taking Matt bungee jumping." I tell him.

"Oh yeah? You paying for the whole thing?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah? I mean it was my idea." I said a little confused.

Trent rolls his eyes and looks down at his phone.

"I'm gonna go grab something to eat baby." Matt says getting up.

"Okay." I tell him before he leaves the room.

"Oh my god! Y/n look at this." Trent says showing me his phone.

His phone shows a picture of us when we first moved to LA almost 2 years ago.

"Awe. I remember it like it was yesterday." I said smiling.

Trent soon gets up and shuts the bedroom door all the way. I stand up and look at him confused. He lets out a sigh before turning around towards me.

"Why him Y/n??!! Why not me?!?" He shouts angrily.

"Trent what are you..." I tried to speak but he cuts me off.

"Don't play dumb. You know I've been in love with you ever since we started talking. Then all of a sudden you meet him and you just completely abandoned me." Trent says.

"Trent, you started to change. I didn't recognize you and you started hanging with bad people." I remind him, softly. "Do you blame me?"

"You completely ignore my feelings when they were obvious!" He raises his voice.

"I'm a idiot, Trent. What do you want me to say?" I said completely as a lost for what to do.

"I want you to say that you'll break up with him and move back in with me like we planned. Then we'll start to go out and later in the future we'll get married." Trent explains walking closer to me.

"Trent I can't do that." I tell him.

"Why not?" He asked in a low tone.

"Because I'm in love with Matt." I tell him. "I can't just leave him."

Trent huffs as his hands ball up into fists.

"He stole what was mine." He says under his breath. "How could you be in love with a thief?"

Trent tackles me onto the bed, holding my arms back.

"Trent stop it." I tell him, struggling to free my arms.

All of a sudden the door creeks opens and Matt appears.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Matt asked.

While Trent was distracted, I kick him off of me and run over to Matt. I wrap my arms around him and hide my face in his chest.

"Y/n..." Trent marches towards us but Matt puts his hand out, stopping Trent from getting any closer.

"I think it's time for you to leave." He stands calmly.

"I wanna hear that from her." He says pointing at me.

I look at him not recognizing the person standing in front of me anymore.

"Y/n do you want me to go?" Trent asks me.

I look down at the floor, knowing what I have to do but also not wanting to lose a friend.

"Answer me!" He raises his voice.

"Leave." I said just above a whisper.

"Fine." Trent says before leaving.

Matt holds me closer swaying us side to side.

"I'm sorry." He whispers. "He doesn't deserve you, even as a friend."

"I think you're right." I said knowing I just lost someone who was once my entire world.
