It's been two days and yet still no movement from Leni aside from her beating heart. Risa stayed all day and all night refusing to leave Leni's side. Leni's daughters and her kids were starting to get worried for Risa just kept on refusing to rest or take a break.

"Issey, ano gagawin natin? 'Di siya pumapayag umalis sa tabi ni Mama." Aika asked Issey.

"Hindi ko rin alam, Aiks. Alam ko lahat naman tayo nag-aalala kay Mama Leni. But I know that Mama worries for her the most, she still feels guilty, I know just by looking at her." Issey said.

"Siguro hayaan na muna natin siya. I know Mama will wake up na rin naman, pero sana malapit na." Aika said again.

At this point they don't know when will Leni wake up. Risa had fallen asleep on the chair beside Leni's bed.

"Ate Aiks, si Mama." Trisha said.

"Ano?!" Aika replied with a worried voice.

"Gumagalaw yung kamay."

"Issey, pakitawag naman ng Nurse please." Aika said to Issey.

"Mama Ris, gising po. Gumagalaw na si Mama." Jillian woke up Risa.

"What?!" Risa said in a heart beat.

"A-Aika?" Leni blurted out.

"Yes po, Ma?"

The nurse walked in and followed the doctor.

The doctor checked up on Leni's vitals and discussed what happened. The doctor explained to the girls and Risa what will be the next move.

"For now, she will be under observation. We will run few more tests just to be sure kung wala bang internal damage or hemorrhages." said the doctor.

"Excuse po, Doc. Normal naman po lahat." said the Nurse.

The doctor just nodded and left.

Risa walked closer to Leni and held her hand. She was crying. Leni smiled at her assuringly to signal that she was okay.

"Leni, I'm so sorry." said Risa

"Wala kang kasalanan, Ris." replied Leni

"Kahit pa. I don't know how will I go on pag mawala ka sa amin. Especially now that we are a family now."

"I won't ever leave your side, Senator Risa."

"I love you so much, Bise."

By that, they shared a kiss. The girls were now crying and standing by the edge of Leni's bed.

"Bakit kayo umiiyak jan na apat?" Leni asked.

"Kasi you're okay na po, Ma." Trisha replied.

"We lost Papa. We can't lose you too, Ma. 'Di namin kakayanin." said Jillian.

"Hindi ko kayo iiwan." Leni said assuringly.

Leni just got discharged and was now back on her feet. She was always at the OVP and had to work over time just to keep up with her activities like site visits and paper work. Risa would pick her up and drove her home, she worried that something might happen again to her and she can't bare the fact of going through the pain again of losing someone she loved dearly.

Leni was swarmed with a lot of paper work and didn't even realize that it was already evening. She got a text from Risa but she kept her phone away. Risa went up to her office which was the farthest from the stairs.

She knocked on the door before opening it.

"Leni?" Risa asked when she opened the door.

Leni hadn't noticed that someone entered her office because she was so busy reading the documents.

"Mukhang pwede ka na manakawan dito na hindi mo alam, Bise." Risa said when she stood in front of Leni.

"Senator! I didn't notice you were here." Leni replied.

"Well you would if you had checked your phone. Kanina pa ako nag text." Risa responded.

"I'm sorry, 'Ba." Leni apologized.

"It's okay. I know how dedicated you are in your work and especially after what happened."

"Thank you for understanding. So? Shall we go now?"

"Yes please. Gutom na gutom na 'ko, 'Ga."

Both of them went back to Leni's condo. Aika had gone back to the States while Trisha and Jillian were at their dorms, but still come home to the condo to check up on their mom.

"Ako na magluluto, Baba." Leni said.

"Hindi na, 'Ga. Ako nalang, kailangan mo mag pahinga." Risa replied.

Leni just blushed and had butterflies when she saw how Risa cooked.

"How did I get so lucky with Jesse back then, and now with you. God has blessed me with such wonderful people that love me the way I love." Leni thought to herself.

Leni stood up and hugged Risa from her back.

"Padaba, padabaon ta kang maray. Dai mo ako pag-bayaan ah." (Love, I love you so much. Please don't leave me) Leni said.

Risa's late husband, Frank, was also a bicolano that's why she understood and knew the dialect even though she was bisaya.

"Palangga ko man ika na sobra. Promise, dai ta ma pabayaan ta ika sana." (I love you too so much. I promise, I won't leave you.) Risa replied.

They both shared a kiss and then Leni said "Tara. Kain na tayo."

"Ako nalang kaya kainin mo?" Risa had suggested while looking at Leni seductively.

"Maaga pa, Ana Theresia. Halika na at masarap tong niluto mo."

"Alam ko. I was the one who cooked nga eh. Pero mas masarap ako, Pangga."

"Alam ko. Natikman ko na 'di ba. Kaya mamaya dessert ko na yan." Leni finished her statement and then looked at Risa that's already turning red.

Both of them ate the food that Risa had cooked and then proceeded to the bed room.

*Hiii babies, hahahaha pabitin ba? Don't worry mas iinit sa next chapter. Btw sa mga hindi nakakaalam, Padaba means someone you love or care about yung sobra and Baba is the shortened version. Kaya kung may bicolano kayong natitipuhan, sabihin niyo lang "Padabaon ta ka" anyways thank youuuu for reading😘💜
