"Come on Dabi I wanna get there before the sun gets to high" you groan in annoyance as he takes forever to get out of the kitchen. You were sat up on the counter with your case laying behind you as your legs swung back and forth. "Okay, olay let's go" he over holding a small bag as he leaned into your body on the counter. His lips found yours quickly as his tongue made its way into your mouth. Your arms wrapped around his neck, his arms reach underneath you and lifts you from the counter. You look down at him as he carries you away from the counter, "you better not hurt your self dabi" you kiss his lips once again before he allows you to stand by dropping you. Your boots hit the ground as you land looking back up at him.

Your quick to grab your case before looping an arm through his and dragging him out and into the bar. "Kurogiri we're ready to leave" you stop infront of the bar as dabi adjusts to being dragged along. "Alright then, let me know when your ready to head back, enjoy your day", you nod and enter the portal dragging dabi behind you. When you exit a large medow filled your vision, you let go of dabi as you step forward to take in the full view of the summer time meadow. You walk over to a wooden picnic table before placing the case down on the bench and removing the rifle. The rifles black body stands out in the bright and colorful meadow. "So what's the plan firefly" dabi leans against a tree just behind th table as you lay down across the table top leaning into the butt of the gun.

"See those targets off in the distance, I'm gonna shoot them", your head lowers as the targets come into your cross hairs. Dabi trys to focus on the targets but he can only see specks of what he assumed you were talking about. Your breath steady as your black flames took shape in the meadow creating midnight buildings and even forms that resembled people. The world goes quiet as your eyes focus in on the target, you watch for an opening as the black forms weave in and out of your sight. You squeeze the trigger sending the bullet cutting through the air before striking the bulls eye.

Dabi pov 1st person

I couldn't take my eyes off of you, the way your body sat with the rifle pulled in against it. Your eyes trained in on its target, your breathing steadied as you prepared to takes its life. I chuckled as I watched your feet raise up and sway away from each other before your heels come back at each other and click as they touch. Just before you pulled the trigger your ankles crossed before bending back and resting against your ass. I normal tried not to stare but you were in a pair of skinny jeans that brought out every curve of your body. You fired the rifle which snapped me from my thoughts, "nice job firefly" you slowly sit up and onto your ankles. "Thanks, hey dabi, wanna learn how to shoot?" Your legs swing over so that your facing me, "sure why not firefly" I drop the bag where I am at, before walking over to where you had layed. You motioned me to lay on the table like you had, "take the butt of the gun and place it into your shoulder, you want your shoulder to be pressed into the butt of the rifle, it as a good kick to it so be ready" you were quick to move beside me guiding my hands to their place against the rifle. "Safety is here use your thumb to switch it off when you go to fire". You leaned down explaining everything on how to fire and where to place my head so I could see through the scope.

"Okay so focus on where your cross cross hairs are, make sure it's where you want to hit, Safety is off so it all you now fire when ready". I steadied the gun as I readied to fire, but you didn't lie when you said it kicked. I squeezed the trigger and felt the gun slam back into me as if I was punched.

Your pov

You giggled as Dabi's head popped up from the kick of the gun. "So good news you hit the target, bad news you might wanna practice a but more on aiming" Dabi sat up and smirked at you in a you think way. He climbed off the table and walked over to the bag he brought with him. You grab the rifle and go to climb up on the table when he placed a hand on your shoulder. "Okay enough practice for now let's eat" he started pulling out sandwiches and snacks as you leaned the rifle barrel against the table. You both sat down and enjoyed the lunch he had made, your mind began to wander to a moment in your past that was similar.

...
"Let's sit here (y/n)" a man the same height as you turned back at you as he dropped a weaved basket. His eyes were a deep brown as he looked into your (e/c), the rim of your irises shined with a bright silver. "Looks good to me, help me lay out the blanke". You take the neatly folded blanket that was draped over your arm, and begin to unfold it. The wind blew the blanket out as you and the man carefully layed it on the soft grass. "Today's the perfect day for a picnic, I'm so happy you were able to get off work today. . Aidan?". The wind blew your (h/c) hair into your face so you used your hand to carefully move it out of your vision as you searched for Aidan. "Aidan where are you?!" Your voice cried out as you desperately scanned the area.
....

"So I got to ask princess, who taught you to shoot like that?" Dabi's voice snapped you from your memory just in time. "Oh I was found by an ex-assassin named scorpion when I had just started doing villain work, he taught me a lot of things, from killing techniques to how to snipe impossible shots.. I actually owe him my life, if he hadn't taken a change on me I probably wouldn't have lasted very long....he found me at a very low point in my life" your voice was quiet when thinking of that time of your life. If it wasn't for scorpion you would have given into the crushing pain of being abandoned a long time ago.

Dabi lifted your head with his hand until your eyes locked. "I'm glad he found you when he did, plus it sounds like you hold a great amount of respect for him" a smile crept across your face as Dabi's words found their way into your darkened world. "Thank you Dabi, I hope one day you can meet him personally, not in a killing way" you both laughed at the idea. You ended up spending most of the day at the range showing dabi how to aim and improving your own skill.
