Yandere Venti X Reader
Venti clapped his hands together and broke into a huge grin.
"We were made for each other; can't you see that?" he said.
I just looked at my feet. What was wrong with him. No, what was wrong with the fucking world that I ended up in this situation which should have been so unlikely. Definitely my fate.
I was in a shit of a situation. Traveler from Natlan. My clan wanted reports about the Monstadt dragon and how some lonely sibling defeated it and how it changed the life of the civilians there. So, I happily took on the job.
Statue at Windrise. I found that place quite alluring so after a few reports I went to take a rest there. Saw a bard playing music. The music was really pleasant to my ears that I kept listening without bothering him. I eventually fell asleep. When I woke, I was on the bards lap, and he was still playing music.
Quickly I got up, rubbed my eyes, and apologized for the trouble.
"No, don't worry, its fine. I've never seen someone liking my music so much that they fall asleep to the melody."
"Your music was really pleasant. I enjoyed it a lot." I complimented him.
"Where are you from? Your dressing attire is really different. Might have seen it somewhere but can't really remember where." He asked smiling.
"Oh, um Natlan. I'm here to make reports about the recent defeat of that dragon. Y/N!"
"Oh alright. Venti, by the way."
"Nice to meet you, Venti. Would you mind telling me about what happened?"
"Might I tell you later over a nice drink at the Monstadt winery, Angels Share. I'm really exhausted right now." He said. But he didn't even look tired in the slightest.
"Sure, well tomorrow evening should work fine with you right?"
"Yeah."

How innocent he seemed back then. I didn't even suspect anything in the slightest. He kept postponing the report and was much more interested in knowing about my life.
I was flattered. No one's really got the chance to know me. Our clans super strict about letting outsiders in my life so all I know of is my family and training master.
I stayed in Monstadt for quite a while, with Venti. I kind of lost connection with my clan during time. We stopped sending letters cause I hadn't received any.
Venti eventually suggested the idea of just staying in Monstadt.
It seemed apprehensible. Since I was disgusted of my life back there, but Monstadt seemed so much more free.
He made quite weird jokes, but I never minded. His personality was charming.
After half a year, I started to mingle around with more people from the city. I'd never really done that, mostly because Venti took up so much of my time and usually kept me out of the city.
I went to the library one morning when Venti was passed out from his hungover.
I met a librarian and a Knight of Favonius. I asked the librarian for nice suggestions about Monstadts past and the traveler who defeated the dragon. She flirted quite a lot, calling me Sweetheart and Cutie. I wondered if all Monstadt people were like this. I shrugged It off. She was pretty though.
During my conversation with her, who was apparently named Lisa, Venti barged in. He reeked of alcohol and his hair was all over the place.
"Get out of the library, you Tone Deaf bard." Lisa said covering her mouth and nose.
