chapter two

DING-DONG!!

June woke startled.

She'd fallen asleep on the couch. She rubbed her hand on her eyes as she stood and stretched out the sleepiness.
She picked up her phone to check the time.
12:33am ...

She walked to the door and yawned.
The doorbell rang again.

"Yes"she said as she opened it. She froze.
There was a guy and a luggage.

He was very tall, lean muscled and so damned gorgeous. He had Sandy blond hair and creamy blue eyes, his high cheek bones and defined jaw was only so appetizing. He was so handsome that June was dumbstruck to even remember why she'd open the door in the first place.

Then he smiled and June died and went straight to heaven.

The guy was drop dead gorgeous....and June was about to drop dead.

"Hi. May I come in?"he asked extending his hand for a shake.

June snapped out of her reverie and took it.
His hands were warm and large and strong. Even his voice was soft and creamy and it gave her butterflies.

"S...sure...y..you must be Jay's younger brother".she stammered and moved out of the doorway so he could come in.

"Yeah I am. You must be June . May's younger sister?". He asked, blue eyes piercing. She nodded."am Alex"

" Nice meeting you...Alex" she said.

"Do I need to be called July? What's with the names?...i mean Jay's already gotten a May and August. I was kinda shocked to Know there was a June too in the family" he said slowly.

"What?" June let out a chuckle instantly relaxing."it's what you get from having crazy parents...I guess some the craziness got transferred to my sister" she said and he grinned.

"Interesting..."was all he said as he took in the homely view around him.

Who'd bear July as a name? But if there'd been a boy in her family, her parents would definitely have named him July.June's parents were months crazy .

I'd probably name my kids after months too - June thought.

"I'll take you to the guest room" she said.
"This place is really nice" he commented as he followed her.

"Yeah it is" she agreed as she opened the door at the end of the short hallway."here you are" she smiled as he stepped into the small but cozy room .

"Where's your room?" He asked taking in the room.

" Am next door. Sharing the nursery with little August" she went to explain when he frowned."it's a three bedroom apartment...we didn't know you'd be coming. so ..."

"Sorry I had to inconvenience you" he said softly.

"Na it ok. I don't mind"she watched him take off the Ivory coat he wore reviling the blue button up shirt and black fitted pants he had on. Was this guy sexy or what? The butterflies returned . She knew she had to go before she'd embarrass herself by fainting.

"Excuse me" she left before she would start to imagine crazy things about this stranger.
She flushed as said crazy things flashed in her mind.

She locked the doors and turned the lights off before heading for her room.

Little August was in a peaceful slumber. Her tiny eyes were closed and her pink lips smucked together. She seemed so much like little snow white.june reached down and kissed her forehead.

She'd just sat on the bed when her phone vibrated in her hand.
It was a text from her sister.
