chapter four

"can we just go back?"June all but whined." I mean, May must be worried by now."

Alex was about to say something but his phone chinned with a message notification.

"I don't think you have to worry about May " he stated."she says they're at the movies, August's with them and the spare key is under the porch mat". He then grinned as June's expression grew sullen."now don't be a baby and come on".

Then he dragged her into the club.
He moved straight to the bar with June tugging along behind him. They sat down on the bar stools and the mixologist attended to them.

"What will you be having?" He asked them.
"Um...Hit me with the best devil in the house" Alex answered then turned to June. "Do you want the same?"he asked.

"Nah... I'd like a cocktail please".she told the mixologist.

"Be right back"said the guy as he turned back to get their drinks ready.

"Cocktail huh?" Alex began."not much of a drinker?"

"Someone has to stay sane between the two of us since you've decided to loose yourself to the devil"  June retorted.

"Oh really?" He let out a small laugh.
June looked around, her gaze stopping at the dance floor.

It was crowded but that wasn't what caught her attention. It was the beautiful and sexy blond at the center of the dance floor and the center of attraction.

The girl was really tall and still on high heels. She was dressed scantly and was rocking the floor with her dance moves.
She was really beautiful with her long blond hair,curls and all. June couldn't tell the color of her eyes since the club was deem and she was far from the dance floor.
But the way the girl swayed to the beat had every man's eyes on her.

June glanced at Alex. He also had his eyes on her.

Don't look... don't look-- she screamed in her head hating the way her belly twisted at the thought of Alex showing interest in another girl.

Not that he'd shown interest in her. They were just friends.

Still, June couldn't get rid of the bitter taste in her mouth.

"A sight isn't she?" Came the mixologist as he gave them their drinks.

"Uh-huh"came Alex "who's she?"

June took a swing of her drink trying to get rid of the bitter feeling. she should have ordered for the devil.

"The killer girl at the center of the dance floor... she's celebrating her birthday or something" came the guy."Damm! Her moves are so hot"

"Uh-huh" Alex said taking a long glance at the blond before focusing them on June.
"Care to dance?" He asked her.

"What?!"June choked on the cocktail. She wasn't expecting that. She'd thought he'd turn to ask for an excuse to go dance with the blond."um...I..I can't d-dance." She said dropping her eyes shamefully.

Next thing she knew, Alex was pulling her out of her sit and unto the dance floor.
"Alex... don't..I can't-" but he cut her off.
"Don't worry I'll teach you" He then gave her a mischievous smile .

The next two hours became a blurr do June. After failed attempts at dancing,she'd returned to the bar stand. Alex had gotten himself drunk in the end and was now dancing with pretty miss sexy blond.

By the time he'd returned to her he was semi conscious. She had to struggle with him out of the club, thankful that she'd already called for a cab.

With the help of the driver, she'd gotten him in to the back seat before getting in right beside him.

During the ride he'd pulled her close and rested his head on her breasts."hmmm" he'd said with a dreamy smile. June tried pushing him away but he only resisted.

When they reached,she realized May and Jay weren't back yet.so she'd gotten him into the house with the driver's help.
Afterwards she'd settled the man and thanked him before locking the door.
Placing her arm around Him and his around her shoulder, she led him to his room.

When they got in, Alex began to laugh.
"What is it?"she asked confused.

He struggled but gained balance on his feet.
"How can you take a drunk man to his room?...you really have no fear do you?" He asked.

June raised a brow."fear of what exactly?" She asked.

Before she could comprehend what he was up to,he pulled her in and then kissed her... deeply.

Electric sparked through June's body...she shivered as she came alive.her legs felt weak and all she could do was lean into him as he devoured her mouth. And he did devour it. His tongue danced across her lips demanding entrance and when she gave it to him, he attached her mouth with his tongue. God, she thought she'd melt there and then as heat fused her up, burning away every other thing and paving a way for passion and passion alone.

Then he flicked his tongue over hers and June nearly collapsed. Thankfully, he held her up with his strong arms as he showed her what a real kiss was all about.
And it was so damn good. She could already feel herself getting wet and she wasn't the only one turned on, she could feel his erection pressing against her.

He must be huge down there for her to feel him through the jeans... At that thought she let out a quiet moan between their lips.
He answered her with a deep groan and his chest vibrated against hers causing her nipples to harden.

Things were getting dangerous like hell, only it was sweet and undenied desire.
What the hell... June! Do something..hey! June her logic called but she paid no heed. All she knew was his mouth on hers and all she felt was his enticing tongue causing a raging fever in her. His experienced hands roamed her body, touching and squeezing her breasts and then moving to grip her hips.
She was about to wrap her legs around him but he suddenly pulled away... releasing her and grinning.

"Wow" he'd said more to himself than her.
And then he moved to the bed and collapsed on it drifting off to sleep before June could recover herself to cry,' how dare you' or slap him or say anything she believed was appropriate for the situation .

Instead she touched her lip with one hand and her raging heart with the other....staring at his sleeping form.
'impossible!'
