Another couple years past. She wss meeting a friend today. She woke up, placed a brown jacket other herself and almost glided down the stairs. A grin grew on her face.
She skipped through the living room towards the kitchen. Sipped some water and rushed towards the rusty room. The light had broken recently. She opened the fridge eyeing the apples. She plucked one out of the packet and sunk her teeth it into the fruit.
She grabbed her bag placing it over both shoulders then twisting the key causing the door the fling open.
She was out.
FinallyShe rushed towards a green patch where she'd usually meet her good friend. A thick layer of moss coverd the pavement leading to the green. The sun had only started rising so it was fairly dark however so she was fairly cautious. Yet still clumsy. The luscious green vegetation climbed high across the trees, the paths, the roads and moss grew like a rebellion against the stones and pebbles, everything surrounding her was beautiful. She was undeniably happy when she was away from home. Wait no, this was her home. This was where she was alive.
She was happy here. She felt like herself when she was away from them. She was home.
Her dark jacket complemented the saturated mossy rock she had placed herself on. Her hair flowed across her jacket like tiny oak branches intertwined with one another. Her shiny bracelets glistened on her wrist matching perfectly with the small silver necklace laying obedient on her neck.
The great peace was disturbed by a large deep chirp. She quickly slid off the rock in panic rushing towards the zipper to her bag, undoing it grabbing the torch. Slowly zipping up the bag she could hear small crunches of leaves all around her.
Help!
Death?
No..
Her thoughts were interrupted by a jump on the mossy rock, her neck spiked upwards. She anticipated a growly foaming at the mouth houd-cat. Her brindle eyes widened at the sight. A crooked smile grew.
She wasn't perfect, nothing about her was. Her life, her face, her arms, her legs, her body, her jawline, her eyes, her mouth, not even her words were perfect. She was human, and that made her perfect.
Her face and body relaxed. She finally sat down from her crouched position.
"AVIS!!"
