Eventually, he narrowed his list of hero schools down to three. The ones on his list were considered the best in the country when it came to educating future heroes. These were UA, Shiketsu High School, and Ketsubutsu Academy. It didn't really matter which one he chose because he was Gojo Satoru and he could make it into any of them.
UA was obviously on the list because of its reputation. Top heroes like All Might and Endeavour had graduated from there. If Satoru wants to be a top hero, then going to UA would help him achieve that easily. It would also help if he is able to form connections with some of the heroes that work there.
Shiketsu was on the list because of its reputation as UA's rival school. From the information that he could find on the internet about the school, it was considered equal to UA but had a much stricter learning system.
Ketsubutsu was on the list because it was the closest one of the three. Also, it was considered the best after UA and Shiketsu.
Which one should I go for? He asked himself mentally. He was going to an actual high school for the first time, so he wanted to pick a school he actually liked.
He decided to just attend the entrance exams for all three of the schools. That way he could actually see them in person which would make deciding a lot easier.
Yes, that's what he would do.

Today, Gojo would be taking the entrance exam for UA. He had already participated in the ones for Shiketsu and Ketsubutsu. Honestly, it was so easy, he had to check more than once whether he was writing an exam to become a hero, a position that holds such importance to society. Then again, he was the Gojo Satoru, everything was easy for him.
He was pretty bored though. In his previous world, he would be able to exorcise cursed spirits to ease his boredom. Unfortunately, he couldn't do that here. If he tried to do the same to villains, he would be deemed a vigilante, and then he couldn't become a hero. Also, his parents would probably ground him and stop giving sweets. Now that would be a nightmare.
Looking around the UA campus using Six Eyes, Gojo could tell that out of his three choices, UA had the largest campus. And apparently, there were more buildings and property owned by the school outside. It made sense though. UA received the largest funding out of any other school. But even then, the HPSC didn't seem to have much influence over the school, which meant that whoever run the place was not a fan of them which could help Gojo, if he could get them on his side.
That just meant UA had another plus point in his books. After walking for some time, Gojo reached a very large auditorium which was already half-filled in by students. He got some weird looks from some of the students likely because he was wearing dark sunglasses inside a building. He didn't really care though. He just took a seat in the middle of the auditorium.
After 20 minutes, the entry doors for the auditorium closed and the lights dimmed. The projector started and displayed a picture of the UA campus with the words 'WELCOME TO THE UA HERO COURSE ENTRANCE EXAM'. A short person climbed up on the stage and Gojo raised an eyebrow.
"Hello, students! Am I a dog? A mouse? A bear? But importantly, I am the Principal!" Nedzu said in a cheerful voice. Well, it seems that even Gojo, who had seen it all, can still be surprised. Apparently, the principal wasn't even human. Not that he minded, if Yaga could be a principal then anyone can be.
Principal Nedzu went on to explain how the exam would be taking place. There would be two parts to the exam, one written and the other practical.
"Now as for the written part..." Nedzu started and the students leaned forward in anticipation. "That's a surprise so I can't tell you about it!" a few of the students yelped as they almost fell off their seats in surprise. Gojo just chuckled. He liked it here already.
"Anyways, as for the practical exam... you will be fighting robots."
The principal then went on to explain that there were four types of robots in the fake cities. Three out of those four were worth one, two, three points. The fourth robot was mainly an obstacle and was worth zero points. To earn points an examinee must destroy the robots. After reading out all the instructions, the principal looked up with a smile.
"Now, does anyone have any questions?" Nedzu asked the students. For a few seconds, there was no response. But then...
"Oh! Me! I have a question!" a cheerful voice said. Nedzu looked at the student who had raised his hand. He had white hair and was wearing sunglasses. He was also smiling innocently.
"Ah, yes! Examinee number 5644. What is your question?" Nedzu asked. As the boy stood up to ask his question, Nedzu noticed that the innocent smile slowly turned into a cocky smirk.
Nedzu had seen this smirk on many other students before. Usually, the ones who had a superiority complex. Although the ones who had absolute confidence in their abilities also had the same smile, so Nedzu would not be quick to judge.
"Well, you mentioned that were supposed to destroy the robots. So there is bound to be some damage to the surrounding areas. I just wanted to know how far we could go with that?" Gojo asked, smirking the entire time. The other students were staring at him. Who asks something like that?
"As long as you don't directly damage the fake city or hurt any other candidates, it's fine. Collateral damage will not be considered in your scoring, but purposefully destroying the city will." Nedzu answered. Gojo nodded in understanding.
"Okay then! Guess I'll have to hold back then!" Gojo announced making all the other students glare at him. Hold back? Did this guy think he was better than them?
"Alright! If there are no more questions than everyone, please make your way to the assigned rooms for the written exam." Nedzu said as he clapped with his paws. All the students obeyed and exited the auditorium. He knew there was no point in reprimanding the young man and he didn't want to waste time right now.
'Man, I'm excited.' Gojo thought as he entered the room assigned to him and saw that a lot of the occupants were still glaring at him. It obviously didn't bother him in the slightest. After all, Megumi's glares were scarier.
Soon the written test started and Gojo lost himself in the exam questions.
